Spell drop question......Follow

I am in need of Mask of the stalker, and I am broke and I almost refuse to buy spells in the bazaar. (Even though I sell them? Oh well, not the point!) I am trying to get this for my 65 Ranger and have only been to Ssraeshza Temple last night. Died first trip in, and managed to live the second time. We had a 69 ranger, 62 Cleric, 60 Beastlord, a 56 Warrior, and me a 65 Ranger. We didn't do too bad, but I guess my question is do I need a key to get to the spot where this spell drops in the Temple, or does it drop on the mobs outside the locked doors? Also, are there better spots to get this spell?
