My baz mule is up as long as I have power but my actual playing time is about 6 - 10 hours per week.
And thats only cause that is about how often per week I can justify spending the time LFG.
Actually grouped and hunting is 2 - 6 hours per week maybe.
I vote for another server merger or 2 then maybe I can justify more time for this wonderfull game.
But sitting around for hours LFG is just not appealing like it was over the past 6 yrs.

On the week I have to work, I ave. about 26 hrs. On my 7 nights off, I ave. about 60+. My kids are grown. I work 10-12 hrs/night for 7 nights and then off for 7 nights and play EQ alot when I am off work!! This is relaxing for me as I am a Registered Nurse and work in ICU. My husband cannot "put me on a schedule" or "restrict" the amt of hrs I play because he doesn't work at all and I am the sole supporter.

I used to play 3-4hrs a night on Mon-Wed nights. That would total about 10hrs. However, work has been incredible for the last 5mths. The entire project team has been working 55-85hr weeks for that entire timeframe.

I miss EQ, except for the endless searching for a group. Work should let up in 2mths, then I'll be back to see if there is anything worth sticking around for. I kinda got used to real life.

If I can find some fellow guildies that want to play in zones, excluding the last two expnasions, then I continue, otherwise I'm done.

FYI.....I feel the need to respond to the prior post from TINAMANU....Girl, you have serious control issues. You are throwing some serious weight around, not to mention a ton of attitude. You better hope your man does not get a job, because you may be in for some backlash.

6 or 7 hours a week now that spring ( gardens etc ) is here. In the winter , maybe 10 to 12 hours a week. My wife and kids keep me away from the game.

Being I'm unemployed right now, I'm up to about 50 hours a week. When I'm working, it's usually down to about 15-20/week

Alright, im 17, and have been an Everquest addict for 7 years. Great way to be brought up, I tell ya! lol

Right now, I only play hardcore on weekends. 3pm-1am Friday, 9am-1am Saturday, and 9am-11pm Sunday. Parties and attempts at being socially active take place usually Saturday mornings and Sunday at random times (Tunare Server is *Dead* on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I mean, 2 people at Main Bank in PoK!). Sorta disciplined myself not to play during the School week, keep grades up, keep parents happy so they let me bug out on EQ on the weekends. Vacations? Forget about it. My motherboard almost pleads with me to stop.

Moral of the story is-If you want low-maintenance kids, introduce them to Everquest early lol. Oh and age-discriminating guilds are pretty retarded. Sure you want a level of "maturity", but hell, some kids are so mature you would guess you were talkin to another adult. Plus hey, kids most of the time dont need to leave raids/groups early to go to work-and we get vacations! :P

Horwood, I wanted to respond to that as well, but I try not to on things that can heat up, but I mirror your opinion to the letter.

I don't play as much as I used to, or maybe I do...hard to tell since I started working graveyards, but I am off every friday, saturday and sunday most of the time and I am on if I'm awake! My husband works graves as well and plays when I do. And just for the record because he reads boards sometimes, ANYTIME you want me off of the game to spend time with or do anything with you, just say so!

I'm on a leave of absence from my job this year but I actually play less than I did a year ago when I was working full time, likely because there are fewer people to group with during the day than there used to be and I'm not in an EST time zone guild whereas last year I was in a European time zone guild (guess I did that kind of backwards, huh?)

I averaged it out once, and when I was playing, I averaged five hours per week. With that level of time commitment, over a very long time, my main was level 67 (which is probably nothing by now). Now I have a baby and I play zero. Of anything.

I have a set schedule at work so I have a set schedule for play. Im generally logged into mah kitty or an alt from Midnight till about 6 AM tues thru sat. Sun and Mon im on except for while im sleeping.....havent figured out a way to play sleepin....yet..

But im still in the 26-35 category most of the time. RL seems to interfere far more often than not:)
