Can you start getting the Ornate Armor after you get just one flag? If I did the Trial of Execution and got the flag for it could I get the Ornate Armor or will I have to have more flags? Right now I hail the guy and he says I'm not experienced enough, or something to that effect.
Any information is always appreciated.

From what I've heard you just need to be level 55 in order to start getting ornate. If you're not high enough I believe the NPC won't give you the required items involved.
if you aren't high enough(IE not lvl 55) I believe you need to be flagged for either valor or HoH i forget.

No flags are required to get the Ornate Tranquility Armor. Just need to aquire the appropriate pattern, talk to Bor (don't forget the gold), and what ever items needed to complete the recipe. (Final combine is no fail)
Yes but can't you still get it if you are fully flagged for BoT/HoH even if you are under 55?? or have they changed that?

You should be able to get ornate armor with just one flag (any flags works to my knowledge), or by being lvl 55+. My cleric was around 50-51 with the PoJ exe trial done when I did a turn in for the ornate bracers.
I'm not absolutely positive, but I believe they removed the flag requirement sometime in 2003 and only check for level.
Having ONLY A PoJ flag definitely does not work. I'm also pretty sure they did, in fact, change it so you MUST be 55th, but I have not tested this. Any effects on them, though, do work at level 50 still.

I'd have to agree with the Level 55, no flags needed. I got the pants for my chanter at level 56 or so, and iirc he only had Sol Ro alt access, no flags at all. Even with the level req those pants are still a blessing for chanters since they can get clicky group C4 5 levels before they can even scribe C3 =)
My 55 Shaman no flags at all, no alt access flags, not even the OS key is wearing the ornate chain shirt that I bought in the bazaar.
So 55 is all that's needed.
