Morning everyone!

I was way too busy yesterday (work), so here is the late Weekend Update:

Thu: Planned playing, but real life got in-between.

Fri: Continued the coldain anniversary scavenger hunt and got 5 of the 10 pieces. Went to Skyshrine to find out that you need a key to enter Cobalt Scar. As I realized that I had neither the power nor the faction to get the key, I got frustrated and decided on hunting fabled instead. Went to South Karana, finding several high levels camping for Fabled Quillmane. Asked if anyone had seen Fabled Grizzleknot and got the tell that he was just rotting, so I should hurry. Was allowed to loot the Fabled Treant Staff!!!!! Smiley: grin

Sat: Played late at night (on my laptop; loading...loading...loading...), tried to get the Rallic Pack, but had to find out that my faction with Katta folks is not high enough. Got frustrated (again) and logged.

Sun: No EQ, preparing for holidays . Leaving on Friday, staying for 2 weeks. Egypt, here I come!

Friday I raised alchemy skill, watched a CW dvd as I was considering it for the museum store, went to the library, and played some more eq but I cant remember where or what I did.
On saturday I went to ww to help get Elnes ranger and my rogue the fabled bracer of scavenging. It was a long morning waiting on spawns, but elne had her ranger ding and got the bracer as well as the earring. Seems someone found two fabled grachs up at the same time and shouted out that one was rotting.
After the ranger got her loot we logged on the 32 druid to help my rogue, ended up with the shaman keeping the druid buffed as she pulled the db exiles and other blue mobs in the area. Then the Fabled Bandit lord popped again. I dotted it and the druid melees.
I log out shaman log in rogue, but while I am doing that I tell elne to Lock the corpse. She Loots the bracer in confusion instead!
So after grumbling a bit I say ok. Keep the rogue on and she is basically keeping me alive while I level. Fabled pops again, but unfortunately elne is not quick enough on her heal potion and dies. (fabled was yellow to her.) So now the lord is on me, and I have no heal potions either. Let out a yell, and head for the zone line, thankfully I had sow. Anyway, i run around the area and someone else grabs the BL. Leaving two mobs on me. Thankfully I had two ds up and was able to survive them at 1 percent hp.
Sad day. But wait! I log shaman back on figgure If BL pops again I can pull off to the side and look to camp and bring on rogue for loot. In the meantime I pay a visit to the goblins in the ruinds along the road, wipe them out, and come back for the repops in a bit. Well what is that I see, Grachgrist? YEs indeed, not the fabled but I kill anyway. No earring but the gloves will do. Wander over to the next ruins and promptly get aggroed by the Fabled Grach! YEah now if only i can get him down to where the rogue is camped. Done and Dead the rogue is now the owner of the fabled goblin earring! Only need 8 levels to wear it.
That eve I went to the theatre saw Radio Golf, August Wilsons last play. Great story and good cast.
Sunday was work, Came back home and logged on the rogue to do some more exp work, dinged 23 and ran around in pok jumping off bridges to raise safe fall.

Friday I drove to NY after work to see friends and family. On Saturday and Sunday went to a SciFi Convention and met some cool stars.

Since this was late... Monday was home sick and tried to get some fabled gear for my SK but that didn't work out all that well.

not much EQ, sunday only. in the morning I was able to get manaburn, while grouping with guildies in HoH. emergency 12 k unresistable dmg. with almost no aggro, kewl.

in the evening, camping the Ukun in DS for the aug. no luck so far, but maxxed a few languages in between waiting. took the baby pallie to Dreadlands with guildies, had a few skillups in 1HB and played the "who can keep aggro better" with clerrricboy. I won ;)

Tough weekend on the EQ front for me...

Friday: Stupid computer...bad memory strip

Saturday: Bought and installed a new memory strip. Then joined my guild in PoI for a factory access flagging raid. We took dowjn the dragon no problem at all. During the fight though, the chanter memblur'ed N itram and he forgot what he was doing there. No Flag for me..Smiley: disappointed

Sunday: Dinged 63 for all of about 10 minutes. Stupid trains...

Oh well, it is part of the game I guess.

Must of been a media Convention as true Fandom know it's SF and can't afford cool stars.

Meeting cool authors and SF artists, who are willing to chat with you for hours after everyone else has crawl into a corner to sleep is cool.

As for my weekend, well I claim confusion at which bracer was the fable one, as Jonwin used his "I must be obeyed" voice at me, as he gets up from his computer.

He also forgets that our weekend starts on Thursday with guildmates. Saddly I can't seem to remember that far back.

Friday I can remeber chatting on AIM and not getting much done. Started to notice I am sleepy more then normal.

Saturday I found him sitting at my computer, when I got up. I take control of my toons. Of course this leads to me not understanding what he is saying to me. We both forget that I can't understand words said in passing. Type it for me, next time it's important.

Sunday I log in and go to Dreadlands with guild. Made level 43 and 2 yellows. Shock to realize that my years of solo'ing has lead toing my druid skill up to 150 in 1hb. go to bed tire and feeling like I may just be getting the hang of playing a mid level toon in a group.

I solo when no friends are on to group withs ince I prefer folks know that I crash and need naps often. So I've spent 5 years getting to level 33 and then make 10 levels in the short time I've played, since moving her over to Provar.

Not sure when I'll be feeling up to playing again, as I been feeling sleepy all the time. Nothing like waking up more tire ten when you went to sleep.

Ok elne, next time I send you a message. I hope you are able to read it! I just trusted you would not loot a lore no trade item off a fabled corpse.
Oh and on Thursday it was a guild LDON mission. Not too bad a time, except for a certain druid breaking mezzes. No deaths however so no big deal. I think the druid now has a proper assist key made.

I do agree with your comments about Nambiak going to a media con and not a regular SF con. I do understand though that some of the media type cons guests are as friendly and approachable as most the the writers and artists we have met at Balticon.
Oh for all you Neil Gaiman fans, he will be the GOH at Balticon, held memorial day weekend.

Fri - Took wife out to dinner.

Sat - Time raid, we kicked *** as usual.

Sun - Jewelry to 300, and all tradeskills above 200 finally. Journeyman Artisan tag is now mine.
