I play with a group of friends with toons that range from 57 to 59. Is it our imagination, or does leveling start to slow down in the upper 50's?
We have tried the zone-it at POI and near the zone-in at PON and things seem slow there. Is there any better spots for grinding exp in the upper 50's? Our normal group of 6 is a warrior, cleric, enchanter, necro, pallly, and druid.

59, luckily, is slower than most of the levels above it. 59 really just sucks.

59 is a hell level, so keep a stiff upper lip and buckle down.
The good news is that level 60 will only last about a day...then you will be back to normal leveling at 61.
It seems like I spent my late 50's - early 60's in Natimbi, Ssra,Ubral, PoV.
I am sure you will get better xp in newer expansions though...places like Lavaspinner's lair, Stillmoon temple, Tirranuns delve, do the missions for faction in Lavastorm and then move to Creators and such.
Anyway good luck.

Yes, even though SoE smoothed out most of the exp progression, 59 still ends up slower than the previous levels. After that, the 60s fly by.
Your group can be doing OoW easily...start in Noble's Causeway at the zone-in from Draniks Scar...or try Harbingers Spire, just up the hill behind the castle leading to Noble's in DS.

Ode, to the hell level of old. It still exists. Maybe a little less so but any extension of a level makes it take forever.

Yep, I thought hell levels were fixed several years ago till I put my Ranger through lvl 59. It took forever.
Going all the way through level 60 took me literally 20mins of fighting during the double xp weekend, in a double xp zone, with lessons of the devoted buff running.

59 in this single worst level for xp. It took me, no joking here, like 3 months to hit 60.

I am SO glad that all this positive talk has been made about it. For a while, I thought it would take me like, upwords of 2 to 3 months to get past it!

Best bet is to forget about leveling at this point, start playing the game for the fun of the game...that way when you do level, it is a nice kick in the pants!

I've done 59 in six hours as both a Halfling Druid and an Euridite Enchanter. It's just a matter of grinding without little delays. Charming did it for me in both cases.
PS- Save Lesson for a time you're FM and ready to burn it. If you're able to solo well, do it then.. don't let those leaches steal your time to shine!

I've decided to get my cleric up to 62 before the weekend. When I made the decision I was halfway through 59. It took me two days to get to 60 and then 60 flew by in a few hours in WoS. I spent some time at the caves in PoV tonight and am 3 yellow bubs into 61. I didn't see that when I was there at 59. I don't think the xp slows back down so much after 60. Lvl 59 just sucked.
