Before I get started on the weekend I want to apologize to all those in Aude Sapere for publicly lambasting your guild last week. SORRY.

I bet the bankroll when I deguilded my toons from AS one night and lost. I thought my odds were excellent that the Guild Leadership would want to take some action to find out what happened and if anything could be done about it. When they didn’t I started in on the accusations name-calling and what-not. Bleh, it was ugly. (Dot, I know you’ve put the effort in before to keep people around. I spose that’s why I thought it was a personal thing. Maybe it is? Who knows, it’s still boggling to me but fortunately it doesn’t matter anymore.)

I’d mentioned before that I doubted I’d ever join another guild, but I have and won’t hesitate in the future to join groups with my games. We’re social buggers and we’re always better for the relationships we build whether they turn sour or not. I’ve walked away from AS with, what are already sustainable friendships. So, it was well worth my time and effort to invest myself in the people there. (Fortis, I want to say something to you here but I just don’t know what. I’ll miss not seeing N’s one year pic I would have forced you to post.)

So, this weekend I’m looking forward to playing some EQ with the new guild hubby and I joined – it’s a bunch of old married folks like us. My goal is to get him comfortable enough with a few others that I can slowly bow out of this game. I’m pretty committed to Eve - it’s a fabulous game. The very nature of it weeds out the impatient youngsters and leaves behind those who want to seriously spend the time on some really cool stuff. You can do SO much with it.

I’ll also be bowing out of Allakhazams, but will always be on the lookout for familiar names as I cruise through the gaming realms. It’s been nice chatting with you all. Thanks for the great information.

It’s springtime. Smiley: grin

It’s Friday. Smiley: clap

(Hah!! This was just a good-bye post after all)

I've been very quiet on this subject. I've been completly surprised by attitudes lately, and have decided to be the bigger man and stay out of things. That, and I'm not active in AS anymore, for reasons of my own, I still lub the guild Smiley: flowers

The reason I personally didn't say anything to you, is I truly felt you were ready to be done. I was convinced that you wanted to leave the guild and EQ as a whole.

I had no idea that it was all just a ploy to get us to ask you to stay. Had I known that, I still wouldn'tve bugged you to stay, because I see that as being very childish.

This all being said, I'm over any animosity and wish you the best of luck. Eve is a good game.

Don't burn any bridges in the future, you never know when you might need some help with something :)

There was no ploy. Rickety bridges are unsafe and just as well burned.

Well that's not a very good attitude for life.

Don't you all have a guild website - WTF?
#7 Mar 24 2006 at 1:13 PM Rating: Good
Ok, yes guild drama in public sucks. That being said. Aude Sapere is an Allakhazam based guild. Therefore, it is not uncommon, nor out of the realm of everything reasonable that posts are made here regarding the positive and negative aspects of it.

There could've been more drama posted here, but we were able to keep it to a minimum.

Yes we have our own website.

Ok, I posted this here because I'd given my word I wouldn't post on the AS site anymore. If you don't like it, don't read it.

Frak, I truly didn't leave as a ploy to get someone to beg me back. That's kinda silly, I did miss you all and did want to come back and play with you but I couldn't do that without understanding why I had, once again, been sidelined by an AS group. Yeah, I left haughtily and acted like **** after I left but, why I left had never been addressed.

Kriegs you can have my stuff though I'm not sure how much my casting gear is gonna help your tank. My stuff is pretty sucky too.

...and as I mentioned above I was done with Alla's and I do like to keep my word. I'm also done with all this and wished I hadn't bothered to check back here.

Tootles.
