Which provides better mana recovery? Level 68 spell Pained Memory, or the AA Cannibalize? I'd like toknow before i spend the points, since i already have the PM spell.

I think you can use the AA while your Pained Memory is refreshing so it may have some use still. Would need some qualified shaman to confirm this, though, as I have not played a shaman to that level. I'm pretty sure any shaman you ask is going to tell you to get the Canni AAs.
yeah, you can use both.
Canni V takes a lot more hp, gives more mana. I only use if close to full health, and announce hp drop so cleric (and tank)doesn't go crazy figuring out what is hitting me. I use Pained memory the rest of the time.
In a safe situation like in guild lobby use both after death to get mana back.
Never figured the percentages, I'm sure someone has.

What is it like to be a level 68 shaman? Can you still offtank slowed mobs?
47 and counting. It may be hard to go back to courtin when I transfer him to povar.

shamans can tank slowed mobs all the way upto and including lvl 70(shoot that is how they solo......), just slow sick pet dot and then go in and melee. Get canni AA for sure.

Thanks guys. i got the Canni AA, and i love it. Endless mana rocks. I can get off a couple pained memories while canni 5 is refreshing, if am in a pinch for mana. Just hit Canni 5, PM, PM and then Quiescence, and poof... full health and full mana. need to get Breath of Trushar, for that 620/tick HoT. Having a hard time parting with the 15K for the spell, and havent been able to get a rune to get it myself.
As for soloing or off tanking stuff at level 70, as long my dog is between me and the mob and I can keep him alive it's all good. For the most part, i try to keep from getting hit.
