I couldn't find the "Pearls of Wisdom" on Alla or Lucy. Perhaps he meant these: https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=2576

A pearl of wisdom is an idiom for a valuable piece of wisdom. When he ays "from long rants", he's just talking about picking out the little bits of wisdom from otherwise meaningless, long-winded writings. *Keeps writing for an hour, then posts.*

Who are they kidding? GMs don't read petitions. They scan for keywords (pearls) in long rants and push the apporpriate response button. That's what they mean by 'harvesting pearls of wisdom'.Smiley: wink

I still want to know what zone the pearls drop in. I am wondering if the zone will have different types of rants. Maybe a short rant, or an obtuse rant.
Now reofl you just move along. <waves hand in mysterious fashion> This is not the thread you want.

*Sighs* Yes, you were all joking about it. Incase it isn't obvious from my post, it was directed at janadea, who I don't believe was seriously unsure.
Ah wells. What's a message board without a conscending ***?

Just an observation, but it seems I am only ever taken seriously when I make sarcastic remarks on this board. (Now was that sarcastic or just cynical?)

P.S. That last question was merely rhetorical.

Well, darn, I had a long reply already composed before I hit that line.

I am sorry, but you only have 12 posts, did we not take you seriously 11 times, 10? We only take posters seriously after they work hard for it, maybe 15 or 16 posts, 20 if you keep using unmarked sarcasm, without permission.

Anyway, you will no doubt be terribly pleased and highly honored to note that I recognized the humor in you previous reply (with a link no less), and we need more cynical, sarcastic posters. You just simply can never have too many.

Now to address the real problem here. ALLAKHAZAM, where is our smiley, that donates sarcasm? We could use Smiley: cheese, but that is so, well, cheesy. How about Smiley: cool, that doesn't get used much, cool could mean sarcastic. Or we could use /sarcasm on, but you'd have to be real careful to /sarcasm off, or it would run all over the threads and create a mess. Think about it posters.

/edit I got hit by an obtuse rant, and it is very painful.

Gee kelti, sorry about the obtuse thread, maybe it bounced off a certain posters head?

Thank You Marres, But since they are in Burned woods, I would bet the rants are being guarded by the moss snake. I will have to wait until I have more levels to the rogue before I go there. Do you think it would be possible to pick pocket a pearl?

Smiley: confused

We were all shrouded as level 70 Gargoyle Beserkers. Isn't that how everybody raids high level fableds?

It would have had to be a Shroud/All or Shroud/BER item, right? I'm not missing something here, am I?

(Maybe I forgot to use "/absurd on" again.)

CommonSense > Budwizer? If this happened, then I wouldn't be so afraid of driving on the road at nights.. well, if this was true, and if the aliens weren't out for revenge.

/absurd on you all shoulda haven given that three aug slots, a type 7 a type 11 and a type 12, and made a grandmaster augment for type 11 that dropped off the (hold on a second /sarcasim on) fabled idiot (/sarcasim off) in the zone as well...

/rant on

speaking of fabled whats the deal with the ones in kael hitting for 1000-8000 points of damage i mean i got a 15k warrior that drops like a fly there. i thought i'd stand some sort of chance.....

/rant off

/absurd off

thats all i really have to say about this lol.
