7th anniversary scavenger huntFollow

The reward really makes no sense after receiving a reward of great utility last year. Further, this year's reward is a lot more difficult to obtain, especially if you add the faction problems, the fact that there are 3 quests comingling quest items, and the bugs associated with the Keal quest. Adding to the absurdity is how SOE introduced great items in the Bone Mask of Horror at the Halloween event and then the Emerald of the New Year at the New Years event. Why on Earth would they revert to an item that is nothing more than aesthetic toy?

If you want cool items, hunt fabled.

If you want a reward like last year's exp potions, play from NOW on until Wednesday (this is still the double exp weekend).

If you want to have a bit of fun (collecting, visiting zones), do the anniversary scavenger hunt.

Just stop ******** around everybody...

I don't care if it's an uber reward, I don't care if I need the item or not. EQ is about having fun, and I'm having fun doing the quest. This is the first time that my main might be high enough to finally finish the quest.

If you think the reward is not appropriate, don't do the quest.
If you like scavenger hunts, do the quest.

But no matter what you're doing, have fun!

Fireworks. No stats.

After hand in, it appeared I did not recieve anything. I figured out that the item is there, just can not see it. I am using the old UI, and guess the staff is not supported. So be prepared for the invisible staff if you are using the old UI. It works, you can click and equip, but have to place cursor over the blank spot to see the name, and can easily loose it in a bank slot if you don't recall where you put it <grin> At one point it was on my cursor, and I was not able to mem spells, kept getting a message my hand are full, but it looked like nothing was on my cursor though the invisible staff was there. Just like SOE to get me hooked on the ORIGINAL UI <I like using original name instead of old> then leave me out in the cold. Take care, gl all.

after 5 days of faction. got to the skyshrine item today. at first i nearly threw the comp out the window when i realized it had the same graphics ast the coldain one. (was expecting a fire looking one).

then i clicked it.....but i wes to vlose to an npc and only saw the fire arond my feet, wich made me mad. then when i backed off and clicked it agan at a diffrent camra angel, i noticed that it maked u look like your spitting fire like a dragon $$$$$ X-D

all in all was a good hunt. and oh yes i did have FUN!

Siren piece can be picked up off Sirens in Cobalt Scar also.

Killed about 25-30 kodiaks in EW never got a tooth but got off of the 3rd kodiak killed in Great divide.

I have met a lot of people lately (including me, duck) who didn't even know there WAS a village in the lab. Now if someone could just tell me approximately where on the map it is...

One problem, though... the Ice Sculpture doesn't seem to be dropping from the Kobolds right now.

I must be doing something wrong. I have killed lotsa kobolds in velks, slaughtered every dorg in the village a couple of times, and still not ice sculpture. Crap.

I have killed tons of Kobolds in Velks and no ice sculpture dropped. Anyone have any idea where it else might have dropped?
