How long is the hunt going to last? I really don't care what the reward is, I just like the fun of doing them!

Zone out of Kael to Wakening lands and run to Skyshrine zone and zone in 8)
TheKate careful you need faction too to do the quest in Skyshrine. when you zone in carefully lok around to corner and /con the mobs there

I've been running round on this quest for most of a day, and now I hear the reward is probably fireworks? Didn't we just do this at New Years?
The Scavenger hunt is suppose to be for fun. If you are doing it out of greed to get some Uber Item then find something else to do,( such as the fabled bosses ) and stop whining just because it may be just a simple reward.
I can't do any of them.....somehow managed to stay at indifferent to coldain guys, wouldn't give me the quest, skyshrine kos and kael kos and not really sure how that works, thought they were opposing factions? so apparently I've been killing stuff that they are both allied to :/ just my luck

can i get an answer as to how long this event is going to last?? hopefully a month so that i can do it next weekend when i get home...

just finished thug quest. do u need faction to talk to the others that gives the quest? dont care about the mobs in zone or around the. so do i need to ss faction to get the one in skyshrine ?
oh and the effect of the items are a kind of a firework effect. rather a small frosty looking water sprinkeler for the thug reward. have not seen the others. but i guess if u get all 3 u can put on a mildly amusing light show /shrug. but the graphics on the staff itself looks great. looks like it crawled out of the plane of magic

SS staff is light blue and well - jagged - looks pretty cool to me and has a particle effect of cold-mist going down from the tip. Damn if i had known the Thurg one looks cool (havent seen yet) i would have kept my leftover collectables and gotten it too.
Effekt is Fire - sparkly on top of your head - circle at feet (similar to emerald of new year but red not green :P)

i have ally to all kael giants, and i followed your list for the scavenger hunt precisely as posted and it won't let me combine the bag... any suggestions?

its too bad you cant cast on other people like the new year one. would make it even more cool of a prize IMO. im satisfied with it though.
i just wish faction did not play a roll so i could get the others so i could dual them and put on a colar show with all the scavenger hunt items from the past.
i feel sorry for all who wants to do the quest but has to go bother with faction first

I'm curious to know the Kael effect myself. I've done the SS and Thurgadin ones and am fairly tempted to go slaughter a few hundred dwarfs to go and do the Kael quest. BTW...holding these quest items in both hands looks pretty slick, even if that are just toys. At least you'll leave a pretty corpse.
Just need A snow bunny in EW, not the Fabled to loot the lucky rabbits foot. Just kill all roamers and you will get some bunny's. Tracker helps alot.
BTW after I did turn in to npc in Thurg, I did not recieve a thing..nothing but exp. Needless to say I was not too happy after spending hours collecting. I /pet but I am sure I will get the usual SOE blow off generated response back...so fair warning.

Check what appears to be an empty spot in your inventory if you didn't recieve anything. I had that happen to me, but DID recieve the staff, it was just invisible (wierd, but I could see the graphic ON my toon, but not in his inventory)

i had the wyvern claw also, got when i was jumped by a wyvern in CS, with the bag full it would not elt me combine it. the items match the clues veyr well, i don't know why it wouldn't elt me combine, i have petitioned to see if it is broken, since no one seems to have finished it yet.

killed Kobold's in the village in Velketor's Labrynth and never seen one drop . Is there a sertin one it drops off of or what ?
The Ice Sculpture is VERY COMMON drop in Upper Dogs camp in Velks...

got a reply to the petition saying the quest was working, but i repetitioned with the clues and the items i had, cuz the list here matches very well. still; waiting to see what they come upo with.
Fireworks is a slap in the face to anyone doing this. An AA, a custom armor mob look, or PP would be better. Let the person choose at the end.

The Collector's snow bunny foot drop off any snow bunny in Eastern Wastes, got ours tonight. So it does not just drop off of the fabled.
Having a rough time in Siren's grotto and Dragon Necrop, every thing else was easy so far. Still have not been in Velks yet, saving the slippery slopes for last.
