Morning everyone! It was a weekend of trying and failing:

Tried to get the Bamboo Bo Stick in Crypt of Dalnir, but it didn't drop.

Tried to get the Shrunken Goblin Skull Earring from Grachnist, but couldn't find him.

Tried to finish the second Coldain Prayer Shawl quest, but had to find out that the Preserved Kromrif Heads had poofed in my bank. Smiley: motz

Finally also achieved some things, too... Dinged 48 in a Takish LDoN, got the 10 Kromrif heads for the Coldain quest a second time, received my second Prayer Shawl, and got the Tundrabear Sandwich, the Frost Bunny Stew and the Ulthork Meat Pie for the third one. Just missing two more Snow Griffin Eggs...

Edit: Next week the Update thread will probably be much more interesting, with the 72 hours of double exp, the fabled mobs and hopefully a new anniversary scavenger hunt on their way...

bbot, I've always found Grachnist to pop in the gobbie camp, just to the east of the bridge. There's a wheelbarrow up against the wall - I'd sit in the wheelbarrow and he'd spawn right before my eyes. He wanders though after popping.

Too bad about the giant heads. You petition it?

Didn't get alot of EQ time here. It was far to gorgeous of a weekend to sit inside.

Our BL, Dr00d duo though managed to get to level 39 in Frontier Mountains throughout the week at the Giant Fort and the Goblin Caves. Last night they dinged 40 in Gunthak.

My disappointment for the weekend was accidently giving the BL's warder the Fighting Gauntlet I had just paid 2k for. We had one sweet pet fighting with us for a bit though.

Are others having issues with Alla's this am?

My Eve-Online Update (you'll all be loading up the game soon Smiley: grin). My free trial ended. I bought it. I lost my space ship. It got blown up. But I had insurance and now I have a bigger better space ship with missile launchers on it. I went back to the pirates that blew me up and they pawned my again (I got away though). I'm gonna get um yet.

Heh, just wait to get the Fabled Grachnist when it comes around later in the week.

Well lets see, did a Time raid (well up to Tier 4) Saturday. Took a while mainly because it was sort of a joint/open raid. Got a few guildies keyed.

Spent most of Sunday doing various PoR quests. Stealing from the Tellen guards was fun. Actually finished that quest which yielded a 200hp earring. Not bad at all. Still have a few mobs to kill on "The Needy" quest which yields a 20AC 200hp ring.

Nah, took me 1,5 hours to get them again. Plus, I gained some exp as the giants are still dark blue...

Took the baby wiz to Rathe Mountains with some guildies. Got a level or two from the skeletons and evil gnomes there. That lil frog of mine just LOVES blowing stuff up!

Spent some time on my Shadow Knight. Went from level 22 to level 26 in Nedaria's Landing. Walked away with lots of pelts, but only 2 anaconda meats. They must be very rare or the RNG hated me this week-end.

Sunday afternoon, I logged in the cleric, rounded up some guildies and headed off to do some LDoNs. We struggled through a Lower Guk one and then flew through a BB one. We had a blast! I've always liked doing LDoNs.

I'm looking forward to the anniversary events. Should be fun!

Didn't really do a ton of EQ this weekend, but got some things accomplished.

I got Titanium on the way home from work on Friday and started up a second account. Tried out WinEQ but it kept crashing me (I couldn't get it to run two EQs, it kept putting it on the first instance of EQ). Got a new cleric on that account to 10th in the tutorial, but gave up working on boxing.

Also did the 68.3 spell mission Friday night with my chanter. Was nice to finally get that one out of the way. Also did a DoN to get enough evil faction to finish my tier one tasks.

Saturday morning, was super sick. I managed to hold out through yet another crashed zone trying to take out Xuzl in Sol Ro and through a Rydda Dar kill, but I was just too ill to do more. Missed out on an invitation to get the flags I needed for Time too due to that. Was able to box my cleric and chanter as long as I didn't go into PoK by using alt-tab for a little while later that night.

Sunday got the BoT flag quest done in Storms finally for my chanter. Also was able to finish up my DoN tier one. Tried to box my baby cleric again with my chanter and was able to do the first part of the Innoruk Disciple quest.

Friday and Saturday - No EQ.
Sunday - Took my 57 War to group with some guildies who let me tag along in WOS. After a about 4 kills the group ended up disbanding. Luckily as I was leaving, I was able to get a group at the RW and spent a few hours with them adding what little dps I could and dinged 58. Later took the GF to lunch and a bit of sight seeing. Logged on my 29 necro and 33 cleric in Rathe Mounts. Got a group fairly quickly and fear kited the giants for a while. Ding 31 and 35 respectively.

No EQ for me. Was visiting my mom in Texas for the weekend.

Happy BDay to her!

Managed to accumulate approximately 250 Deepwater Ink to raise alchemy skill and trophy on the 14th (which is when it will be fixed on patch day). Will probably only take me up 7 skill points per hundred or something evil like that.

Well, was a good weekend for me in EQ even though possession wise not much to show for it.

Friday I spent switching between my new necro(up to 11) and my other toons switching gear around in the banks and just chatting with guildies, friends and anyone else who would listen :-) Managed to Ping my SK yet again and grab the Unholy Steed

Saturday I was on in the afternoon (EST) and got in a nice raid of PoFear to take out CT and everything else in the zone. Was hoping for the sword for my 1.0, but it didn't drop and lost the roll on the cloak. Had a blast though and was yet another learning experience. Don't worry Cazic...I'll be there next time you pop on MS...

Sunday I spent my time factioning in OT collecting the war braids to get the VS faction up so I can finally get the OT gate hammer. I wish I'd have never been to Karnor's because this is taking me forever...lol.

Starting after the patch I'll be all about the fabled's again and trying to get whatever any of my guildies, friends as well as my toons might need. Last year for me was all about the Fabled Ring of Eldak I got for my wizzie, when that was still my main, but now with my SK I'll be even more busy. Anyone on Maelin gimme a shout as I will be on a lot :-)

Nice. That must have been a nice surprise.

I think the GMs do a good job responding to item reimbursement requests. Just recently I accidentally destroyed an item and got it back a day or two later - after a little lecture about being more careful. Smiley: smile

Thursday eve I logged on a druid to get her some exp. Hadnt played in a while and she was lagging behind the shaman.
Friday I played the rogue, Elne logged on her ranger and with a guild mate we did a few tasks in WC and S ro. The rogue died in South ro when I ran past a desert madman and an orc warrior. They both took exception to my presence. Logged on the cleric to drag my corpse and rez. ( No exp regain but that was ok.)
Later on in the day I logged the Shaman on. Looked at some Alchemy recipes and played a bit in gunthak.
Saturday I put the shaman in the dreadlands to pick up some alchemy drops from the yeti. Nice exp as they are db. Went to SF society meeting on Sat eve. Came home and played Jonwin a bit. At 55 the Sg's are lb and he is having fun doing the faction quests on them as well.
Sunday I worked, and went shopping. By the time I got home and had dinner it was time for west wing and then the sopranos. No eq except to move some items around on toons and set up traders.

i went spirit shouding with my guildies and another friend of mine. i have already got werewolf form, that was from soloing in BBurro. Then we did a GM event <me and guildie Blazes> Blazes won a silver chitin handwrap - BAH- it was a race from neriak to inottule.
So anyway, Blazes is a scaled wolf and i am nearly a zombie. exellent.

No EQ for me this weekend, took my GF to NYC to meet my Mom Smiley: smile had a great time. Got on last night and got another shard for the VT key for my rogue. Hoping to get his last shard in Ssra tonight, maybe some green metal for an upcoming Emp Ssra fight. If I am lucky I will get to work on his epic 1.5 as well. Getting close to the fun parts of that!

I wish I had known they would do that. I gave about 2k worth of twink gear that was supposed to go to the pally to the enchanter's pet. I always thought the GMs would just say, your loss, next time be more careful.

They still do that. Sometimes they get it back for you, but not always. It's definitely worth trying, though.

Thursday before work, faught murkgliders in NC with a guildie dinging 58 on my druid while I was there. afterwards, I picked up my spells, invluding my new healing spell.

Friday, after running around paying bills, logged on to go to PoSky for a guildmate's epic drop, but he was unable to make it, so I went to WoS with a few other guildmates, while watching KU defeat Oklahoma State in the Big XII tournament. Picked up half a level, and learned that the RNG hates me even more that I thought. I only won one drop, and was something I couldn't even use (Though my enchanter could).

Saturday, my computer's PSU went out, so I spent the day at my parent's waiting for my dad to get home to fix it. Watched KU defeat Nebraska with my mom, and as soon as my dad got home, we got my computer fixed. Sat logged on 'Chanter and went to PC with a friend. Went from 20 to 23 in a few hours.

Sunday I woke up to tornado sirens going off, so I went storm chasing for awhile. Watched KU defeat Texas to with the Big XII Championship, and after going mudding with some friends, and a 3 mile hike after we got stuck, I sat around waiting for a Hedge raid that never happened, and then logged on 'chanter and dinged 24. We went to Echo to hunt, but got chased out a few too many times by bad pulls.

Monday I got home from work with a note from friend that said he had a corpse in Frontier Mountains, and could I please log on druid to go find it. Something about running into a cave he thought led to a zoneling. Never did find the cave.
