Morning folks! Had a really, really, really fun weekend in EQ, one of the best I ever had.

Thu: Skipped EQ with friends, helped my girlfriend with her diploma thesis. Logged on at night, got the Blessed Fishing Rod in Bazaar for 800pp and finally created Xanthe's Earring of Nature. I have been waiting for this moment for several years now... Smiley: yippee *teardrop* Had to log at midnight as my girlfriend wanted me to come to bed (guildies had a good laugh). Smiley: blush

Fri: Went to Fungus Grove for the first time ever and traded Xanthe's Earring for the Earring of the Solstice. Now my Beastlord got two mana regen earrings. Smiley: grin Entered Echo Caverns, again for the first time ever. Found two guys to group, got good experience (and leadership experience). Dinged 44. Left after about an hour.

Sat: Again two hours of EC in the afternoon, easily formed a group with four other guys, we rocked! (/shout EC clear!!!) Mobs couldn't repop as fast as we killed them. Dinged 45. Smiley: waycool Left to see my girlfriend finish her thesis!!! She's been working on this for 7 months now, and it's a great feeling that it's over. Smiley: yippeeSmiley: yippeeSmiley: yippee Logged on one more time late at night, handed in some more Sarnak War Braids to Captain Rottgrime and reached indifferent faction.

Sun: Day in the countryside with my girlfriend and her parents. Visited one of the oldest monasteries in Austria. Sunny day and pretty warm. Only 45 minutes of EQ at night, handing in some more War Braids. Went to bed and was very happy.

It's still the weekend!!!

Holiday here today.

Druid and BL pair completed a task out of lavastorm. Had to kill 30 elite spidies, you know those ones in the tunnels everyone tramples to get to the DoN camp.

It was pretty challenging for a couple level 27's though. Spids were all red, but the whole thing netted us about a level of xp.

Did a nice relaxing grind through Echo Caverns and the skeeters to ding 29.

And then hit a wall.

'sigh'

Went to Iceclad. The hubby got turned around and ended up with 7 cougars on him so we had to run away. Decided to try ToFS's, got trained and wiped, next to SK for gnolls and again got too many adds and had to bail.

Good news though after snagging a couple HQ Lion skins - I have 5k saved towards my horse. Smiley: grin

Hi there everyone.

Bbot, grats to your GF for getting through the thesis! Smiley: yippee

With the upcoming expected nerfs, I spent as much time as I could doing MM's, and got my mage to 53. Our guild tried the War Machine MM, but two failures due to runners which mobbed us with friends (only allowed 10 deaths for the entire party), then we figured on easy exp with Queen Nocnoc, but discovered it was bugged! We couldn't get credit for killing the last shard, and the rare drop poofed from the guy who won it! Poor Slappy! Smiley: oyvey

But, all in all a good gaming weekend. Can't wait to see what the patch has in store for us (sarcasm).

Moms 65-th burfday. man, I ate way too much... sometimes I think I can soon compete with them "slender" americans ;)

just a 2 hours session on sunday with a fellow Ranja guildie in the deep (first time there). 5 or 6 ore pieces dropped within 2 hours, so good fer him. I made almost 1 AA, so good fer me too.

FRI Enroute home from a 7 month long deployment (3 days left)

SAT The Marines in their Harriers fly home to Yuma.

SUN The rest of the Marines debark three Amphibious ships for Camp Pendleton. It took about 16 hours to offload all the Marines and their gear!

MON HOME AT LAST!!! We moor to the pier in 2 hours!!! Got other plans before I "hit" EQ. "Hi honey, I'm home!" heeheee

Oh as far as EQ, the wife managed to get killed several times in WoS helping guildies trying to find Runes. Soon I'll be there with my uber ranga to take the deaths!

Wed - Just ran through a few epic fights, Dragons in NK and JPF, some quick mob in Bloodfields for enc epic (it died in about 20 seconds, I had popped defensive thinking it was a standard longer fight ><)

Thurs - WoW Night, Guild raid on UBRS. We rocked through it with me at the helm (this place is pretty damn easy for us now). Quite a few BoE set pieces dropped (Rog Belt, Lock Bracers, Druid Gloves). We also got a really nice set of shoulders for one of our rogues, a nice BP for another rogue, Shammy gloves, some decent loots off of The Beast, and the Warlock robe for one of our mages (the Lock already had his). Was a good run lootwise.

Fri - PoTime again, we didn't do P1 very well though and the 2nd set wiped in the Fire Trial. My set rocked and took out Air and Undead before they finished wiping in Fire. We went ahead and took out Fire for them and then blew through Earth. Unfortunately, the other set did not complete their Water trial in time and we failed P1 :(. I did pick up my Pulsing Emerald Hoop though.

Sat - Grouping/sets rearranged and we completed P1 with minimal issues (Stubby as MA for Settwo, only killed 1 monk and 1 SK!). We ripped through P2 and then headed down for P3. P3 was ... interesting. A lot of not listening and stuff, but we managed. I picked up a Cloak of Wishes so I was happy.

Sun - Continuation of time P4, took out TT and Saryrn, didn't go so well on TZ. Loss of healers before the zek hurt us a lot :(.

Mon - It's President's day here...but I still have to work :(. (Stupid scheduling giving me 3 days for 10ish days of work to do). WoW night is tonight and we'll likely head back to UBRS to finish some quests and get more loots. (Which means I miss out on the rest of P4 :(, oh well, I don't like the VZ fight anyway!)

Friday dinged 56 on my War in PoN, then shortly after died back to 55 Smiley: mad. Could only get a 90% rez, so was just a couple killes short of 56 again. Group broke up after the wipe so I logged on my Shaman and went to solo needleites in EC. Dinged 31 on him then went to bed.

Saturday the guild was suppose to raid Fear, but with only 4 people logged on we thought we just weren't uber enoughSmiley: tongue So a couple of us went to Corathus Creep and I dinged 56 again, then died again when we got an add Smiley: mad but we had a cleric with a 96% heal and dinged 56 again. Haven't died yet (knocks on wood). Logged the Shaman back on and dinged 32 in EC with a group this time. Got my pet spell and played with that for a little while.

Sunday I just farmed some chunk of condensed shadow for some arrows and worked on some tradeskills with all my toons.

As said by Elinda it's still the weekend! So I'm sure I'll be doing some mm's trying to get some more aa's or maybe even level before tomorrow.

Don't you have the vet reward "Experience Recovery" (100% rez)? For how long have you been playing?

It says time entitled on this account is 1.0 years, but it won't let me claim them. I didn't know if you had so long to do it or if you could claim them anytime? I figure after the next anniversary I would be able to claim them then. Plus it's just a game I will eventually get to 70 but by then the cap will probably be 80, hehe.

And bbot if you ever need a War on Xegony look up Phumok, that's who I'm usually playing.

Even if you could /claim it, you would only get the first of the veteran rewards (Lesson of the Devoted), and you'd have to wait 3 more years for Expediant Recovery, sorry...

Definitely gonna look you up on Xegony, gonna need a good warrior for my Epic Smiley: grin

And Odzmye, although very pretty, your avatar nearly makes my comp crash...

Blarg, you don't know me, but I think I'll dump my week on you anyways.
Earlier this week, I saw fear for the first time. I didn't get the epic drop I needed, but a friend did. It's probably the hardest piece of the warrior epic. I'm very happy for him.
After that, I started working on my alt cleric again. I got him from 28 to 40 and made at least three new friends along the way. The very cheap expert cultural armor looks very snazzy on him.
My guild raided all the HoH trials, LMM, Hedge, finished our saryrn key and did the enraged jailor twice. It was a slow week, having us canceled a raid and did the enraged jailor instead of a PP mob. Just another week in EQ.

Cool, I play on xegony too.
