MM and Shroud ExpFollow

Hi folks,

Searched the forums, but found nothing on this one. Does anyone know if MM exp counts against unlocking a shroud form? I have run about 6 MMs in the same form, but no movement. Normally I would immediately say no, but I have read that it sometime takes quite a bit to get the percentage to move when beginning a new form type. Anyone else try this yet?

Thanks Kelti. That's what I expected, but I thought I'd ask for a confirmation. So from what I see, the only way to gain shroud exp is to get a kill count in the shroud form, and then is can only come from mobs you would get experience from, in that shroud level. Some exp will go to your toon, but if you are significantly lower level in shroud form, the toon exp is pretty bad. IMHO, the only reason to shroud would be to gain a skill from the shroud, stop a buff timer, or group with lower level toons for fun only... Ah well, it's a neat concept, but not one I will be using any time soon.

once upon a time - when I was crazy enough to do HHK MM's - I used to walk the long treck shrouded. not only did I save buffs, but I picked the rogue shroud, so I was safe when walking through Kithicor (just sneak/hide). also, safe in between MM's.

for non gating classes the "spirit sending" back to PoK is useful too.

and the "you have currently 12 (enter any number) ability points" message once you unshroud is priceless Smiley: grin
