take a high level character add tradeskills add a couple of quests like Vex Thal access, Anguish access, Apprentice researchers quest etc = using up 2 or 3 extra toons to hold stuff. My account gives me 8 toons but in reality i can only have 5 or 6 characters. I have one toon named 'skillzmule' his name says it all and another toon named 'needbiggerbank' - no fooling. 2 of my 8 slots are wasted to increase my storage capacity.
I agree that a toon should not be able to CARRY unlimited items with him, but in a game like EQ where some quests can require 10 even 20+ items and tradeskills can go way beyond that, then the bank should be unlimited or at the very least 2 or 3 times the size it is.
look at EQ2 you have 12, 16, 20, even 30 slot containers!! What's more, those containers (when empty) fit into other containers without the need for bag tokens. (my apologies, but the bag tokens were a dumb idea in the first place) Maybe Caeylerna was a simple way around some difficult programming, I don't know but EQ2 storage capabilities are FAR SUPERIOR to ours.
I'd like to see the size of the bank change. More than once i've had to destroy something, even though I thought I might need it in the future, just to make space for something else. In a world where Vex Thal access type quests exist this is inadequate.

I agree it be nice to have containers that fit into containers. I mean I should be able to carry my coin purse in my backpak no?
Kidding aside, I am always out of space, try making misty picnicks, endless subcombines etc etc. so WOOHOO to extra bank slots 8x8slots = 64 slots x10 bag slots =640 more items I can carry on my 8 toons woots!

My wife too is a Tradeskill Junkie! She has (along with alot of patience) all of her TS at or over 200 and she is constantly saying she needs more room.
I dont think Im allowed to come home on the exspansion release date without it!
So at least she will be happy for the first week after the Bank gets expanded...I figure by then she will be needing more space again!

Try completeing some quests and finishing things you start. 16 Bank Slots with 10 slot bags, Characters can carry 8 more bags, also 8 Characters, and 2 shared. That give you the ability to hold 1940 items or stacks per account. Weather you have figured it out yet EQ2 is a different game don't try to compare the 2.
All steps might not apply to everyone:
HOW TO GET MORE BANK SPACE:
1. Get rid of all sentimental items. Do you really need that Langseax? Do you really need that random quested piece of dookie that you got five years ago?
2. Get rid of all NPC purchasable trade skill items (depending on costs). Look around in PoK and Abysmal Sea. The merchants often sell items in their normal stock that you had to make in earlier expansions.
3. Get rid of the back-up armor. With the corpse summoning, you will never gear up for a corpse run. No need to have stored armor to break into Fear.
4. Smash all old quest items that have inferior rewards? Are you carrying random PoSky items from a raid five years ago? Look up the item and see if it is trash. Look up those items that you are carrying from PoP and Velious. If the rewards are junk, smash them. Double check all your items, I bet there are some old quest items hoarding room.
4b. Finish all quests that you started and still want to finish. If you have 9 of the 10 shards for VT, camp that last mob, I bet it is soloable these days. Get the frame and do the combine.
5. What other random crap can you smash? When was the last time you used the Shadowhaven faction medallion? When was the last time you used the anniversary food?
6. Get rid of the "skill up" components. Use them already instead of waiting for a huge stockpile of them.
