Without GoD, you will only be able to get the AA titles (Baron etc.), no tradeskill titles (Apprentice Brewer, Master Fletcher, ...).

Pretty sure all the Epic 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 + Tradeskill (Apprentice, Journeyman, Expert, Master) and the 4 per General, Archetype and Class Titles came with the Omens of War expansion.

I believe the original 3 AA Titles came with what would now be Core expansions.. Kunark, Velious and Luclin. But that was before my time.

aa titles were introduced in luclin, along with aas. but if you have any expansion past that, you can get them.

you don't need any expansions at all to get TS titles. you need kunark for 1.0, even though they were introduced with oow.

Silly me re: the original three titles.

No.. I am pretty sure that you cannot set the title without Omens, even though you can earn it without.

99.99% sure, actually.

Pony up $20 and get all the expansions. Then you won't have to worry about it...Smiley: yippee

I like tradeskill titles for the most part but somehow 'Apprentice whatever' doesn't have much cache for the time invested in some skills to get to 100.

Be better if it was:
Apprentice = 54-99
Journeyman = 100-199
Master = 200-249
Expert = 250-299
Grandmaster = 300

Wow.. that is contrary to my personal experience with characters that have not had Omens and were unable to set any titles.

I r learning.

Thanks.

Hmm, are you really really sure? I remember not getting the tradeskill title (apprentice baker) until I paid for OoW...

And sorry for the quote, but I was never able to accept that Groogle thing... Smiley: wink

I have several skills above 100 and my baking is over 200. I am unable to get any Title. I have all expansions to GoD. So it seems correct that you need OoW or atleast an expansion past GoD.
