Curious..

Does anyone know off the top of their heads the average HP a toon should have at lvl 40. I have 2 accounts and many of my toons are sitting around 40. Is there a site I can go to that states this...id like to know for all classes if humanly or elvenly possible..lol.

Also, If I am to uinderstand this correctly... AC and Sta affect HP. How is this figured? is it "X" amount of AC = " HP" and "X" STA = "x" HP?

I know that the more AC you have the better off you are, but am curious to know the formula so as to figure out upgrades.

On a similiar note...mana. Your mana increases as you level as well if I am not mistaken, what is the formula for this? If I twink a froglok shammy to have 199 wis at lvl 2, he would have much less mana than a lvl 47 shammy with identical gear and 199 wis? LOL my shammy has never been upgraded...

If I am mistaken on anything, feel free to say so. I wont flame you or say that everyone who answers is under 18 and unemployed...LOL

Thankyou

PS. Is funny none of this mattered before I left game 2 years ago. But now with all the new content and many toons capable or near capable of being Planes ready, I suppose its now important to me now.

Take all your gear off and put it in your bags.

Now look at your stats and hp/mana/endurance.

This is your base, it changes with level, aa.

Now take one piece of gear look at the stats on the gear...put it on.

How did this change your numbers?

Let us know.

Ac does not affect your hit points. Unless you put on a piece of armor that has hit points on it.
Ac affects how often you get hit, and how much damage is done when you are hit.
Stamina affects hit points based on your class and level.

is late, or i would get the formula's for you

it is x number of mana per point till 200 wis, then x number mana for every point after 200 wis. you get more per point pre 200 wisdom. so it is important to get at least to 200, then go for raw mana items. then as you gear up, it will no longer matter. all upgrades will have butloads of wisdom, and you can only goto 415 with aa.

but i forget the numbers atm...

your best bet is to goto your class board and run a search. it is often in a stikied area.

too many hours of exp today...damn double exp!!!! i would help more....but....... i......must......sleep.....!!!!!

here is a great link to a thread about how much mana per point of Widom. i would also "assume" it works the same for Intel casters:

http://www.eqcleric.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4697&highlight=mana+formula

basicly says this:

I'm a `X`-level cleric, what gear should I go for next?

First, if you do not have a mana preservation focus item suitable for the highest level of spells you can cast, then it's important that you work out a way to get hold of one.

If you are level 51+, the next most important thing is Flowing Thought. Flowing Thought items increase your mana regeneration rate, but almost all of them will not work if you are under level 51. There are a few tradeable Flowing Thought items - which tend to be massively expensive - and the best way to get a point of Flowing Thought is to do your Earring of the Solstice quest in the bazaar.

After that, worry about your AC, your HP, and your mana pool. (STA and WIS are also relevant but only because they add to your HP and mana pool respectively).

Most high end clerics agree that once your AC is over 1,000 then the returns for increasing your AC further are small. However, AC is certainly a factor for lower-level clerics. You're a cleric, not a finger-wiggler, and the sight of a cleric in a dress always makes me cringe... put yer damn plate on!

As a rule of thumb, at high levels, one point of WIS is worth around 12 mana; one point of STA is worth around 3 HP. Once you have 200 in a stat, that yield is roughly halved; get past 255, and it's halved again. Items that add direct +HP and +mana may well be preferable to items that add +WIS and +STA, particularly at lower levels or very high WIS/STA totals.

I'm grateful to Nyvn and Restandre for deriving the best formula we have so far on how your WIS affects your mana pool:- (Wisdom up to 200* level / 5) + (Wisdom from 201-255 * level/10) + (Wisdom-over-255*level / 13) + (raw mana) = Total mana

You do not need to max out your WIS if you can get better returns with a low-WIS item. Shields of Bane Warding and Bracers of Sense are for pansy leather-wearing treehuggers, mmkay? ;P

The rough principle is:-

For 51+ clerics: Mana Preservation > Flowing Thought > HP = Mana > AC = resists.
For 1-50 clerics: Mana Preservation > AC > HP = Mana > resists.
