I've started the first wave of profile editing revamps. I've started with fixing the basic display and migrating the max level from 65 to 70 on all the appropriate places, along with a lot of behind the scenes work on how it accesses the data in the first place.

I'll modify this list as I go.

NOTE -- This is just the display side of things, I'm not the one who works on the Lucy program and profile uploader, just the display and data part of things!

DONE:
-Added aug slots 9-12
-Made Modifiers display and add up correctly (I think)
-Removed aug slots from Food and Drink
-Condensed the perl module files into the main one
-Added Endurance to the display and made it a stat, not a modifier
-Added Endurance to some other EQ pages that didn't have it, too
-Bumped HP calcs up to level 70
-Removed the "printable" display -- the normal one is resonably printable anyway, and the "printable" one was even farther back in the dark ages
-Added guild name and link fields
-Fixed edit_char_skills to not display "siz" the first time you load it
-Added owned expansion displays to the Details tab
-Made the Details tab multi-column in order to keep it all on one page
-Fixed the odd spacing in the equipment listing
-Added AA total cost listing along with current level cost
-Made it display all modifiers
-Fixed regex bug with augs > 9 .. and second regex bug with slot2
-Added bard modifier decimals for the left list
-Split off Group and Raid AA from the main calc
-Made regens more correct and in better order
-Started adding AAs

TODO for the display:
-AAs
-Make it memcache instead of DB cache
-Need the real HP/etc calc values for level 66+
-Endurance Regen
-Need the caps for all the modifiers (shielding, etc...)
-Need unspent caps for Group and Raid AA

To think about:
-Should we even bother displaying Triggered boosts to regens? It's quite often totally wrong anyway, since effects don't always stack
-AAs in game show current level cost, but I think that cost per level is more important to see. Right now I'm showing both, but is that too confusing?

First! Smiley: grin

Thanks Danalog, this is what many many people have been waiting for... As for the triggered boosts, I don't think that it is really necessary.

Any info from your colleagues on the auto profile updater? That thing hasn't been working correctly since the server mergers...

Just keep us up to date, please! Smiley: smile

The auto updater is waiting on my completion of some of the data parts of the displayer, since if Rale changes it to work, and then I change the data structures some more, it'll just break it again!

Great news Danalog! I hope that you and your staff have reviewed the old thread, as it contained quite a number of good suggestions. I agree with bbot that the triggered boosts would be nice, but certainly not necessary and could be lower in the priority list, making room for more broad changes. My last comment will also echo the need for more frequent updates from the Allakhazam staff. I am still a bit disturbed by the lack of response from the previous thread, despite countless pleadings from your paying clients. I sincerely hope that this will change the policy regarding feedback. I for one went so far as to send PM's, and to have no reply at all indicates a less than stellar professionalism. I fully appreciate being over worked and under staffed, but loosing track of your customer base is a fatal business mistake. That being said, I still feel this site is one of the best out there, and I hope to stay a member for quite some time to come. Best of luck and skill!

Right now I'm looking for lists of AA, just in plain text, in the order they are in the game client. I've found various lists by class, but I know if I start inputting them that way I'm sure I'll miss some.

I'm still entering AAs, made a bunch of progress. There's just so many of them! =/

I've split off Raid and Group Points from normal AA, but I haven't entered any yet. But when I do, they'll each get their own nice little total.

Let me say good work so far. I'm glad to see the updates. I realy like that you are showing the mana regen and other modifiers its great. I have been updating my peep and get a server error if I put the aa's in, when I try to display the profile. I noticed you took the printer freindly version away, the reason I liked it was because you could save and edit that version alot easier for printing.

Again great work...Please keep it up....I noticed that you are researching the HP cacls thank you.

The printable version was actually a completely different script, and was way way older than even the obsolete one. Once I finish with this page, I might try and make another printable one from scratch instead of updating the other too.

I'm assuming this includes wish lists. Right now, the wish lists are severely limited for high-end players. The wish list doesn't display additional modifiers (like shielding, attack, mana regen, etc.), nor does it display focus or worn effects. This makes it almost impossible to evaluate items fairly unless you know which item has which bonuses and effects.

In addition, wish list items for wrists, ears, and rings are displayed twice, like so:

worn ring 1 (with stats)
--- wish list ring 1 (with stats)
--- wish list ring 2 (with stats)
--- wish list ring 3 (with stats)
worn ring 2 (with stats)
--- wish list ring 1 (with stats)
--- wish list ring 2 (with stats)
--- wish list ring 3 (with stats)

It would be easier to display these as:

worn ring 1 (with stats)
worn ring 2 (with stats)
--- wish list ring 1 (with stats)
--- wish list ring 2 (with stats)
--- wish list ring 3 (with stats)

Same for wrists and ears.

Thank You Danalog for the quick response. Keep up the good work. I can live with out the printable version. I really like the upgrades you have made so far. Any idea when the AA bug might be fixed or is that something with my peep. Thank you again

Thakns again for the hard work

I've completed Omens, Group, Raid, and Veteran AAs. I have Depths and Dragons left to go.

Not all are implemented correctly in the character viewer's stat calculations, but all should show up correctly in the character sheet AA list.

If there are any bugs as to the values of them, or classes missing on certain ones, please tell me here. I was unsure of some of the Raid and Group costs, and I found a bug with the entry page partway through entering them, so I fixed all of the incorrectly entered classes that I found, but I might have missed some.

I'm able to fill in numbers for the Veteran AA, but the "submit"-button doesn't work.

That's odd, it works fine for me. Did you try again in case it was a server glitch?

Confirmed 15-Feb at 2052 EST. I attempted to enter in AA's in the online edit AA field. Submit button 'clicked' but no page update. Reset cleared the fields though.

Tried again right now, same outcome. Clicking on the "Submit"-button doesn't do anything, as if it weren't linked to an action.

Question on shrouded forms. I noticed that when I logged out in a shroud form and ran the profiler, it uploaded the shroud version of my toon. I thought that was kinda neat, but then realized it might cause conflicts. Is there a trap to watch for shrouded data; a tag or something to differentiate, or are you just letting new information wipe old? I don't know if this might cause you an error, but I though I should point this out, just in case.

This may or may not belong here, but im trying to figure out just how these modifiers work? Such as, if i get a Magic Dmg +2 aug, to put in a 2 handed sword that is , just say 48 dmg 34 delay, does that now make the sword a 50 dmg/34 delay weapon? or is it only against magic beings? Can anyone maybe help me with an answer please
Thanks

Hey there Danalog, I think something broke. I noticed that DoN gear which was displayed correctly dropped off on my last update. A specific example would be the Glowing Magma Ring. I swear it was on my list about a week and a half ago, and now it won't upload; is it just me?

Odzmye, I think the problem is that the ring doesn't have the EQ item ID linked. You can tell this because if you click on link you gave, there isn't a link to the Lucy info for that ring by its name. The item collector uploads item ID's to Alla's. If the Alla's item doesn't have the item ID, or if the Alla's info is wrong, the item doesn't upload.

An example of the latter is the Sapphire of Focused Fortitude from Norrath's Keepers. Instead of being set as a type 7/8 aug, it's set as an item with type 7/8 slots. So, if anyone uploads a piece of gear with that aug in it, both the aug and the item it's in are rejected because the Alla's info says it's not possible for this combo to exist.

Are we supposed to post equipment in here that is missing in the profile editor, too?

If so, I found one:
