Be aware that 1st Fist of Light mixes a healthy amount of non-canon fanfic into their "lore".

One excellent source, would you believe it, is the Plane of Knowledge. Hit up all the various NPCs and many sell books for either free or 1cp that are No Rent and tell stories including the building of the wall in Misty Thicket, the Battle of Kithicor and the gradual mental retardation of the ogre race after the Rallosian Wars.

There's tons of other scrolls, books and NPCs with lore in the game but the PoK ones are quick and easy to come by.

If you have Premium membership here at AllaKhazam's, go to Lucy and do an advanced item search. Under type, select "Book" and you'll get a swarm of readable texts from within the game many of which are full of lore. You'll also get larger swarms od non-readable texts and newbie guild notes but if you've got time to waste.. heh

As an FYI, anything with "Prophesy of Trakanon" in it is fanfic and has been offically debunked.
