Almost 7 Years Later...Follow

... and I still make st00pid n00b mistakes like running to BoT, pull the first mob, hit attack and then promptly gate to the OT. Stupid hammer, it should know that I meant to use the other weapons and just go hide itself in a backpack somewhere.

So, what stupid mistakes do you still make?


normally I use a hotkey that auto-switches my main weapons into my hands and then auto attacks but I had just come from a MM and had that hot button bank up instead of my main one ... so that's really 2 st00pid n00b mistakes - shhhh

Happened more than 10 times, becauase I lost count on my hands...

One of my favorites:

Ranger - I'm gonna go pull that named.
Group - YAY! Ok!
Ranger - Add! Go Go Chanter!
Chanter - Wheee! I love adds.
Group - Everyone on the named.

<splat> Wizzy Down
Cleric - OMG WTF Chanter? Are you sleeping?!

Auto attack doesn't work real well when you have yourself targeted.

Roots work REAL well when you have yourself targeted.

Had a bard fall asleep in guk for ooo about5 hours or more ...we booted her but let her there as long as we were there eventually Zzzzzoooom bard wakes up and freaks out lol burning rubber for zone line... stupid git

I used to have the LoH and sit buttons too close together, so once in a while rather than med, I'd full heal myself, but I think better is when I'm playing the alt mage and I keep trying (and announcing) that my pet is attacking the MT, and everyone should help out!

One time in a DoN mission i was so asleep i didnt know what the hell i was doing...there were a bunch of mobs in the middle of a room and we are supposed to go around them and i run right into them and die lol. my group was laughing their asses off...that woke me up pretty good

hmmm.....I'll try to keep it short. Uh way back when flash of light was a cheap verson of fear my bst would offten kite with it. well I've been kiting before and happen to blind myself for 18 secs and I'd normaly just run in circles so i don't get hit to much but once I was trying out a new zone(forgot which one) and I ran off a cliff. bad thing was i couldn't find my bod for like 45 mins.

I haven't actualy done this but I've seen a wizzy kill himself with one crit nuke.

Uh pvp server when cleric is being hit and the SK acidently Death Tuches the cleric.

I'd have to say my favorit thing that I still do all the time, and I'm sure a bunch of other people do this one too, is I loose my warder. Now this is all fine now because I have a summon companion spell which brings him right to me but back before I had it I would hit follow, guard, back, tell him to attack something, and everyother comand you can think of and he would never show up.
