Question About DoN Missions :: Free Realms

I have been away from the game for over a year and am about to get the DoN and DoD expansions when Titanium comes out. From what I gather DoN missions are similar to LDoN (I am assuming instanced zones with point rewards). My question is how do I start -- do I need to do a quest first similar to the adventurer's stone for LDoN? I am sorry if this has been answered but I couldn't find it in searching the forums. Thanks in advance.

You basically can just go to the camps in the back of Lavastorm and get a quest to start. There are some individual quests you can get for faction so that you can get the better group quests. Here's a link to the crystals you get for the good quests. Lists most of the quests on there too. There is also an evil camp in that same area with similar quests.

Radiant Crystal Reward with Quests

It is similar to LDoN, in that you receive crystals for winning to buy items off the DoN merchants, but the crystals are tradeable, unlike LDoN pts. Also, there is a DoN progession with it's own rewards as well. Poke around in the quests in the Lavastorm zone and you'll find most of it.

Your faction has to be good to get group missions that reward you with crystals. However you can do them if someone else in your group actually gets the mission, you can go. You get a special faction crystal at the end of each mission (good or bad side). You can turn these in to get better faction, or destroy them and not take a faction hit. There are single missions to get your faction up, but you get no crystals for those, and you can take a group if you want.
