For whats it's worth I pulled this quote from Dev on EQLive boards:

Quote:
It will take a bit longer than 5 or 10 minutes to switch the "Hot Zones" around but it's something I'm working on. I don't know exactly when it will be completed but it's on my list of things to do.

Apparently it takes roughly around 10 months to change the hotzones around...

Not complaining but it just sounds like something that SOE let slide down the drain and forgot about.

It's probably just not high up on the priority list. I'll be looking forward to the change though. However, it seems exp seems to slow down considerably even in hot zones after 50. 51 is taking forever!

<---- Nods in complete agreement with Aadynn!!!

OMG, 59 just sucked. PoN, PoV, raids, NC, DS you name it I was there.... On the other hand, I did 60 in like 7 hours.

I have done it with a ranger and a shaman. By far the worst was 59!

Enjoy! Happy ______ (insert your favorite holiday here)!!!!

Latest word is that there is a dev working on new hotzones. He did state that it isn't a 5 minute change, but would be done soon.

If I get to that link on the main boards again I'll post it.

I wonder which will come first?

The new hot zones or the new expansion? =D

I was being facetious. Having a 68 paladin I'm somewhat familiar with the hell levels later on. I'm just complaining because exp finally started to slow down for my shammy.

Let the grinding begin.

Yep! I made it to 55 and 4 aa's before throwing in the towel and starting an Alt.

I haven't given up on my chanter, just taking a breather for a week or two.
