My guild website had a connection. Then when I met jonwin and he started using the site all the time. He is the one who first paid for premium membership.

Someone in game told me to come to Alla's once a long time ago. In don't remember which quest I was trying, but I started reading the message boards and became hooked. I don't even play MMOPGs anymore and I still browse through here.

I found Alla via Eqatlas back in the pre-Kunark days when I first started. Was looking for maps to find my way around.

I found Alla's through the several rl friends that introduced me to EQ. While sitting at a friend's house one day watching about 4 or 5 of them play EQ on a lan they asked me to use an extra computer to look something up here. I've been hooked ever since.

My first friend on Everquest told me about Alla when I was about lvl 17 back in 2001. It has been my home page ever since. He was also the person who gave me my first port (and showed me around Crushbone), and took me across the slippery bridge into Thurg, (don't stop moving, just cross!!) A Great Site, I paid for a premium subscription almost immediately! Thanks!

I found All on a link from EQ Atlas. At the time the only decent map site. I don't think I would have stuck with the game for all this time if it hadn't been for these 2 sites. It's a shme that after all the work that Muse put into his site that he wasn't able to continue - SOE sort of trumped him.

Started lurking on the old boards and really learned more about the game than anywhere else - and continue to do so here.

I found it in Prima's Pocket Guides, even though they are like 5 years old.

FOund out about this site, as well as some other good ones, from Primas Strat guide for Kunark.

Even though the expansion is old, this book is a must have for all noobs to any MMO as it gives a good section of the book to things like eticate, EQspeak, websites and so forth.
