There is one thing about druid being ok healing past 50 that everyone seems to miss out on. If a druid is having to heal the SK in the 50's and there are no other healers in the group then it will take most if not all of the druid's mana to keep the SK healed (druid healing not nearly as mana efficient as cleric's). This means that the utility you get from having the druid is gone because he/she no longer has mana for DD or DoT's or anything else.

Not sure if this is a knock on Druids or SKs but being a 65 SK in the fortress of zek I can handle any of the pit mobs without an external heal and still be at 75-95% Life. SKs have some healing abilities and with regen do quite well. I think a Druid would do quite well with that group.

3 box Group with Shaman and Mage

Let not forget about Utility Potion now available HoT, Healing, and Haste. Side note with your shaman get him to at least 25 and start alchemy. even if its just for your own use it will pay for itself.

The only good choice is a druid. Druids can port you all over, heal, buff and add to your DPS.

Knowing that you'll be duo-ing from time to time without the bard is the clincher I think and Druid is the way to go.

While I agree a Druid would make a great third man for a bard/SK trio a cleric wouldn't be a bad option either just for a rez....that being said I'd still do a druid....I love versatility.

I play a cleric as my main and I truly believe that we are underestimated. with a bard in the group, SoW is not really important at all. while a shammy would definitely be my choice for a trio, a cleric that knows how to avoid aggro and still get in a decent amount of stuns or nukes can be a very good choice. I have spent most of my levelling of 2 clerics in a group of 2 or three which has taught me to do a little bit of fighting and never run out of mana.
Still, you should reconsider and make a new shammy.

It's not that clerics aren't good.............it's just that they are not the best duo/trioers around.............in a trio you want the most bang for your buck.........so a druid>cleric in a trio..

Seriously, I box a druid with a sk, wife plays a beastlord. We trio RCoD, taking the minor nameds. Druid can heal fine and ends most fights with over 70% mana. Unless I go nuke happy on her box, which I would also like to address, druid nuke > than cleric in every form and fashion, Chromastrike CLR/69 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 1200. clerics most powerful all target (not just undead) nuke.Dawnstrike DRU/70 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 2125. don't forget the AOE spells, 3 waves of Tempest Wind DRU/66 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 1168. so in review, a class that can do almost the same amount of damage in one wave of a 3 part nuke is better. Go go hybrids. irrelevant to your thread, but needed to be stated.

Yes, druids have alot of usefullness to a trio, as long as the druid is experienced enough to play well. It really doesn't matter what class of healer is chosen, what matters is that you take the time to learn how to play your character before level 50. still, i would say, make a new shaman, they are much better to have.
