Quick levelingFollow

I've been mainly a browser of the forum and haven't posted until now. I've seen other sites and people bragging they've gotten charcters to 60+ lvl in just a few days. Is this really possible? Through power leveling by another character? or just really good xp spots? What are all the current hotspots at the moment and the best spots for leveling up? I'm getting out of college soon for winter break and would like to be able to know where to go and level up quickly. Thanks in advance.

If getting to 60 is your only concern then EQ is probably the wrong game for you. I say this because there is soooo much content to be enjoyed in the game, that its amazing.

Take some time and smell the roses..instead of running right by them.

If you are intent on attaining 60 asap the I would suggest searching this forum for the Oh...1000 or so posts on this same topic.

If you don't have someone to power level you that knows what they are doing and a crapload of expensive twink gear you are not going to get to 60+ in a few days.

Fastest route ATM for a soloist without twink gear is monster missions. Beware however you will come out of it with 0 skills 0pp and 0 knowledge on playing your class.

As was mentioned before if 60+ in a few days is your goal you've got the wrong game. Check out WoW.

If you are new to the game leveling at that rate really won't be an option. While it is possable it takes PP, gear and friends.

My main just hit 67 a few nights ago and I have been playing for over a year. Their is so much more to the game than just lvl, lvl, lvl. Take your time and enjoy it.

However if you are set on the quick leveling aspect then I suggest hitting the folloing zones in order:

FoB
Kurns
PC
OT
Gunthak
Dulaks
GE or PoJ
PoV
NC
WoS
MPG

even in WoW, with normal 3 - 5 hours / day play style, it takes a month or two before a player gets to 60.

I've never tried, (and wouldn't want to) but it might be possible with MMs. As stated above, all you'd have are lvls with no skills.I know that when the level cap was raised from 50 to 60 several characters did the 10 lvls in less than 3 days. One character I know did it in that time by 4 botting.

Remember, zones and gear were very limited at that time, so it was quite an achievement.

Today I'd guess you could get to 60 in a week. One to two days in Glooming Deep and Paludal to 20-22. Then a day or two in DSP to 50. Then I'd try Dranik's Scar from 50-55 for a day then maybe Bloodfields to 60. By "day" I mean 12-16 hours, and of course we're talking power leveling. I wouldn't try it, but I'm guessing it could be done. These would all be yard trash kills, with nothing special regarding raids, gear, etc - and no time looting.

I don't know the lower limit for the Forgotten Halls, but I guess I person could go from 20 to 53 right there, with a 10 minute break every six hours to reset the instance.

I know that with a steadfast servant, good buffs, and a butt load of potions, I can solo a yellow bubble in DS in half an hour for a mid 50s character working alone on faction. So 2 1/2 hours a level, providing your healer/buffer could keep up. You could go faster if you killed Dragorns as well.

And the point of this would be...?

If someone was willing to do this, they'd proably just buy an account, and be a menace on the server for 6 months while they learned the game.

The best i've done is soloed a BST, with 1kpp twink money from 0 - 26 in a weekend. It took A LOT of work. No buffs, no help..but it can be done.
