Does anyone know how many turn ins to Captain Rottgrime it takes to get Venril Sathir faction from apprehensive to aimable? Can't wait to increase it and get my Worker Sledgemallet...

It depends on starting factions and if you have done anything to damage that faction.

Hunting in Kaesora, Charasis or Karnor's Castle can quickly lower your VS faction. Killing anything that lives in the outpost in OT or the new evil creatures in Firiona Vie can lower your faction as well.

I have heard many people say 88 braids will get you to non-KoS but it took my Vah Shir Warrior nearly twice that so your mileage may vary.

the good news is that in killing the bezerkers for the head deals if you are appropriate level for hunting in OT non newb area like 35-50 then its good exp iirc.

Only actually got the hammer once when I was a troll and dont remember how many it took but back then was the IN spot and so tons of people would play there and typically most wood be good and I would get all the braids.

Starting faction was apprehensive, and I didn't lower it...

25 turn ins? That means 100 Sarnak War Braids? Did you start KOS?

Yeah, that's an advantage... Never done faction work before, and it must be really annoying when you don't get exp for it...

Will post here again when I reached aimable to tell you how many braids it took...

It is several hundred braids to complete the faction. If you get a good start on it like in high 20's and the others in your group arnt also farming it you ccan get excellent xp while doing the faction.

It took me quite some time, but here is my update:

My Rallos Zek worshipping Ogre Beastlord started out as apprehensively to Captain Rottgrime.

It took 8 to 9 turn-ins (= 32 to 36 war braids) to get to indifferent.

It took another 8 to 9 turn-ins (= another 32 to 36 war braids) to become aimable.

Got my Worker Sledgemallet half an hour ago. Now I just have to Ding 50 Smiley: smile

I'm doing this for three characters. All are agnostic and haven't taken any VS hits. I haven't done my necro yet, but it looks like 70ish should do it. The others have needed over 100 braids total, but were amiable before they got to 128. From the other threads I figured I needed 128 and got them that many before I blew the Essence of Ogre potions on them.

Absolute best place to hunt for the beserkers is the sarnak ruins just north and a touch east of the valley to FM.
