#1 Nov 16 2005 at 10:15 PM Rating: Decent

you were still farming hill giants at lvl 58?

I think you're best bet would be charm killing in PoN. Get good xp as well as decent gem drops. Maybe do Rockhoppers in DSP for the pelts.

Spiderling silk is the way to go. At level 58 you could easily handle the east commonlands spiders. They hit hard but you can sell the silk for at least 2-3 plat apiece.

If your lucky, you may even find a greater lightstone off one of the willowisps. They sell for at least 5 plat or so. Just make sure you have a magic weapon because they are immune to normal weapons.

Spiderling silk on emarr sells well over 10p each. Someone lists it for sale at 30, but I dont know if they sell any. I list my silk for 15 to 20 and sell quite well.
Best place to farm spiderlings is not ec, it is either everfrost or the crab spiderlings in rathe mnts. If you are lucky you may even be able to turn in the spiderling eyes to the exterminator in Gukta outpost for even more money!
Oh and i understand the market for bone chips is on an upswing.

Agreed Jonwin.

Everfrost is pretty tricky though. You have to watch out for those solists that put a beat down. Not sure if the OP was aware of the dangers of this zone.

Perhaps the Field of Bone. He/she can also capitilize on the upswing of the bone chip market.

If he tries everfrost then he could possibly try the banker route. I remember my early shaman days of playing banker to those uber guys camping the Frost Giants. I could make 40-50 plat a day. That was tough work lugging all those copper, silver, and gold pieces to Halas and back with the platinum.

Bub,
I was thinking he would use wolf form in EF to make things go quickly.
He is a 58 druid not a ranger, so the mobs that can usually put a beatdown arent as dangerous to him.

I know. I was just playing silly.

A level 58 druid can solo Dulak easily for the gems. I can make 500 plat an hour there.

Or like Brewnoe said, Port himself and mates for money.

Dranik Scar, Dulak, Sol B
I can see how someone could get to lv 70 and not know 1/2 of what there is to know about this game. So I think the ridicule is un called for. I still farm goblins in BB if I am waiting for a Ldon Can make 100pp in 25-min

May as well get my plug in:

Meat or parts of playable races (except for frogs, to be confusing those are Froglok Blood and Skin) can sell quite well, 100-200pp for Froglok Blood, Barbarian, High Elf, Half Elf, Vah Shir, Iksar. About 50-150pp for Gnome, Dark ELf, Dwarf, Wood Elf, Froglok Skin, Halfling. About 1-25pp for Human, Ogre, Troll, and Erudite.

Those are the prices I will pay on Bristlebane, prices vary by server of course. Some of them are sold so seldom, you just simply can't buy them. But if you farm them, you get a nice return.

/edit BTW, I am level 67, and have seldom soloed. When I think about it, I am not sure where I would go either. Especially since I am not practiced at it, my alts solo with fear and fear animal, but none are very high, I really do not know where I would go for a controlled environment so I don't die constantly from adds, no dungeon, and still get good experience. I haven't soloed since I did ME a few times quite a few levels ago. I still like a zone out nearby.Smiley: lol

Ice giants are usually camped on emarr. I was serious about spiderling silks.
I would hope he knows enought not to go near the guards in ef in wolfform but being a druid would have no fears about it.
