I really liked the new UI except for 2 things. I know how to fix spell icons thanks to Alla users. I don't like the hot buttons being horizontal, so I guess I would have to get a special UI to fix that. Fow now I just went back to the old one. /edit oops found out how to fix that too, thank you Aulweyen.

My real problem is the EQ Window size. Before the patch, my task bar stayed hidden and out of the way unless I hit the window key. Now everytime I get near the bottom of the screen, my task bar pops up in my way. I had to make it so it doesn't stay on top or auto-hide. That is horribly inconvenient with everything but EQ so I have to switch it constantly.

EQ is supposed to work like a normal window now, but I still can's make the window smaller. It is both too wide and too high to fit on my screen. I have my PC set on 800x600. I can't put it smaller because it's hard to see PhotoShop/Excel/Word/Access for me if I do. I am not changing that constantly too. Can this be changed in an .ini file?

The only suggestion I can make is, if you have Windows set to 800 x 600, when you log into EQ, either at the login screen choose Options and set gave resolution to match that 800 x 600. There is a way in the game to set game resolution too. It was on the alt-0 window before this patch. I'm not at home on my computer now so I can't verify that it is still there. It could also be on the EQ button.

My resolution everywhere in EQ is 800x600. The window has always been too big since they allowed you to not go full screen, but the task bar wasn't in my way, and now it is.

My question is why the heck is isn't really compatible, there's always something different. Every application I have you can size the windows, using arrow keys that appear on sides, top and bottom of window, except EQ. And every application leaves room for the task bar if you have it always on, or even on Autohide, but EQ doesn't.
