I am posting under a different name, so that if any members of my guild read this, they won't be offended.
I am the officer of a family style guild, and we have a website dedicated to raids, upcoming events, links, etc.
However, only about 20% of guild members have ever created an account, meaning, they do not see everything we are putting into this, they never post on our forums, etc.
Do any guild leaders / officers have any ideas on how to "force" registration? The MOTD isn't doing it.
The other officers and myself understand that this IS a family guild, so fewer restrictions should be imposed upon the members, but there is a growing suspicion that we are being used as a stepping stone to "greater things," and the concensus is beginning to become of the mindset that, "If you don't care enough to create a login and post on your own guild site every once in a while, then perhaps this isn't the guild for you."
Any suggestions? The other officers and I have brainstormed about what would make people come, register, and post, but in the meantime, I am beginning to have the same feeling, that the other members only seem to really care when there is something "in it for them."
