The Melee DPS classesFollow

ok folks after a year of not playing I am thinking of a return. When I left rogues were the melee king monks followed and beserker were considered unfinished and not allowed in many groups/guilds/raids. Ive looked around though and now see zerkers are getting respect as a dps class... my question is at high end with equal gear, aa, and the brains to use it do they outdamage monks/rogues now?
