"Dimentia in the Desert" TaskFollow

#1 Sep 11 2005 at 8:24 AM Rating: Decent
Hi,

I have a level 15 druid on Drinal. She got this task from the task master in the EC tunnel. All I have to do to complete the task is talk to an npc in Innothule swamp. However, when I hail her, she says she's waiting for someone important, and no exp or plat.

I sent a customer service ticket....and they told me to make sure I had the steps right (gotta love those enlightened GMs).
Has anyone else had this problem with some of the low level tasks?

No I havent had this problem. Did you make sure you are doing things correctly? If you have an item to hand in, just hand it in without hailing.

Mebbe just hailing is enough? Check the task steps and see if the task step has been completed?? The thing she says may mean she is waiting to be a step in some OTHER quest as well?

Just a guess, of course. Good luck with your struggles.

mostly this is not a hail. There is usually a hand in item from the original task giver. The npc will answer the same text about waiting irrespective of your status as "having a task" or "not having a task". Even when you hand in, the NPC may not give you a tell with the next step... you may need to check the task window and click on the task to see if the next step is listed.
