hello all, i've got a quick ?.........i've been away from eq for about 6 months now due to an unforseen deployment and i was wondering what this whole dang war is about? i've been trying to read up on it on my own but i don't understand. is it some missions that they added, a triggered event like the grimling war, or something all together? sorry if this has been asked before, i went trolling through the forums tryin to find the answers before i posted

The war is an event that is being held on all servers. It is a series of scripts that is activated by both GMs and players completing trigger events (handing in so many items to suppliers, killing a dragon, etc) I don't think anyone knows the outcome yet as it hasnt been completed on any servers, but the gist of it seems that the trolls are trying to retake grobb. Unlike the grimling war this is a one time event.
