I finally got off my bum, and started editing the wiki article kaj sent me about EQ months ago.

I'm too lazy to do it all myself !

www.wikipedia.org--> search "Everquest" ---> edit this page.

in there it says that EQ is tolkieneasque i would thing its more along the lines of dragonlance then tolkien.

but thats just my opinion.

dragonlance is tolkinesque.

when you come first, you get a whole genre named after you =p

thanks Groogle.

what I would like to add:

how often do you come across EQ related websites with outdated infos? I quite often. be it here on Alla, casters realm, graffe...granted, only lil things. but how often do you then write an email, to tell them to update/amend it?

or, how many guild websites are out there with excellent infos? infos you might never get ahold off, as even google will not find them. infos, which will be written multiple times, as nobody knows from the other site...

imagine now, there is a site, where you can update infos yourself, immediately...

the link provided by the OP is only one, but this one here I deem important too.

http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/EverQuest

the chance to add commands, and have them updated by ourselves. not having to rely on some busy admins on some site (not only here on alla), I deem the best. and yes, there are limitations as to WIKI and EQ. but commands, common tactics and e.g. some race/class descriptions?

everythings else is up to you Smiley: smile

PS: here a link to an earlier thread about WIKi and EQ /Alla - https://everquest.allakhazam.com/forum.html?forum=3&mid=1115732071406796210#1115887550524274955
