Losing my identy as a lurkerFollow

I just realized that I have posted more in the last few days than probably in the entire previous 12 months. I'm afraid that I'm going to lose my reputation as a lurker. Must be careful

Got me Kelti - I started on this forum back in the very early days of Alla. Probably didn't post anything for a couple of years. Then I decided I wanted some stars (you have to go way back to know about stars) and starting posting very carefully as flames came very quickly back then. So if you are working on 12 posts ayear, I might qualify. But this adds one more to this month's count, and I'm probably over 12 posts for this month.

So, yes, my lurker stsus is probably gone at the moment. But, I'll probably drop back into my lurker mode again soon. I read these threads practically every day and have learned a tremendous amout of very good info from doing so. Very seldom do I think I can add anything to what has allready been said by the real guru's of the game. They know tons more about this game than I will ever be able to assimilate playing as a causual player in my family group.

Have you ever noticed the poster titles on the official EQ boards? In one of the posts (do a search, slackers) they explain what they all mean. Apparently, the titles are based on the number of posts you've written, as well as the number of threads you've read. So you can get a title for reading thousands of posts and only posting a few times. They're lurker titles basically. I thought that was kind of interesting. I'm sure we'll never get anything like that around here (they'd probably have to redo the entire forum system), but it's still kinda neat, even though those forums blow.
