Question Regarding StaminaFollow

So my question is real simple. How mana hps does 1 point of stamina produce? I'm saving radiant crystals to buy the DoN augs which give +8, +10, +12 and +14 to all stats I'd like to know how many actual hps would these add. Any information would be greatly appreciated. If there is already a thread regarding this please link it. Thanks all,

At 62 why isn't your sta Maxed already its one of the easiest to max out next to str. Agi on the otherhand is a bit of a pain

Maybe he doesnt have access to the stuff that makes it easier to max STA up. Not everyone has it maxxed out by then.

Heck, at level 70, mine isnt maxxed. Well, only 2 points shy of it but still.

at one point, as a 11.1k unbuffed tank, my stamina was three points from maxed...

OP IIRC 1 Stam equals 3 hp. YMMV depending on level

I have about 220 sta with my gear, and when I pop fusion vet reward it shoots it up to 305 the net gain for me as a int caster is around 180 hit points with the difference of 85 stamina. Just an example I am not sure what the long math or formula is or for tanks or such.

I think for a tank class in the 60-70 range, it's closer to 5 HPs per point of stamina. Honestly though, I haven't really looked recently, so that could certainly be off. I'll see if I can remember to check the next time I'm on. I do know that I usually assume that approximate ratio when guesstimating which item will result in more HPs, and I haven't noticed ever being wrong. For instance, and perhaps unintuitively, a Valorium Ring of Gallantry, will actually give me more total HPs then a Dragorn Commoner's Ring. Dragorn has +95HPs with no stamina. Valorium is +65HPs with +8stamina. At 5HPs per stamina, that works out to 65+40=105, which is about what you end up getting.

Again. I haven't actually played around with the values in a while. It's just something I noticed when I was comparing those two rings specifically at one point.

It's also often *harder* to max out stamina the higher in level you get. Your max values keep going up, even without spending AA points. I'm maxed out currently at level 66, but not by much. If I was level 70, I'd could certainly take advantage of a couple more nice +sta items, no problem. And obviously, if I spend AAs, I can make use of even more.

I'd get the +12 to each stat aug at the very least. At what? 90 crystals? It's probably the best bang for the buck. Work out the others based on what you could get otherwise, your level, other gear and aug options you have available, etc. There's no hard and fast rule here.

at 70 pre-200 stamina, I think staminas 8 or 9 hps per point for a warrior, getting lower at post 200 and post 255 again.

Hey. That actually reminded me of something. I know that stats give different secondary effects (like stamina to hps, or int/wis to mana) based on where you are in the range. Does the same thing happen for AC? I seem to recall usually getting some amount more "actual" AC increase then the raw amount on a given item. So I'd equip an item that added like 10AC, but actually get more like 15 or 18 total AC increase.

Just noticed this weekend when I swapped out a couple pieces of gear that I was getting the exact amount of AC difference. Might have just been a roundoff, since it wasn't a huge difference, but it kinda struck me as odd.

okay now I am confused. I always worked on 5 HPs per Sta, and am sure that is what I used to get.

But, few nights ago I put some AA into Inate Stamina and got 13HPs a pop out of it.

Now if I equip Barbed Dragonscale Pauldrons which is pure 10 sta ... I get 30 Hps, 3HPs per Sta.

If i do the Valorium ring of Gallantry I get 92 Hps which is 27 from 8 stamina.

Confusing - or am I hitting a limit somewhere.

Their are 2 major reasons why its not maxed. First being that I left back when velious had come out and basically have had to re-equip everything in my inventory (I had given most of it away). Kind of a slow process for a casual gamer. Second, I'm not really up to date on what the max stats are for my level or where to get upgrades to get there. There are so many new zones and new items its hard to trace out a specific upgrade path. I do read these boards often and try to get what I can by myself but I just wanted to get feedback from the community as far as where I am right now and where I'd like to be or where I should be. I'll have to get a magelo so I can post it and maybe then ask for your input.

What should my sta/hp be at 62? Unbuffed I have around 3.7k hps atm. This seems extremely low when I see some people here with 10k+ hps unbuffed. Is my hp at 62 that bad? Elemental armor is out of my reach as I'm in a family guild and we dont have the fire power to do the pop flags. I'm working on getting almost all Consecrated Plated armor from DoN but each of those only have between 70 and 90 hps per piece plus stats.

I was under the impression that HP per STA scaled up continuiously as you leveled. But either way it's not hard to find out how much you'd get for more STA. Take off an item that has STA and see how much your HP drops. Be sure to factor in any raw HPs on the item too. So say you have an item with 2 STA and 50 HP, and removing it makes you lose 62 HP, then you're getting 6 HP per point of STA. ((62 - 50) / 2)

odd. are you losing a massive amount of ac or something?

gained ac as far as I know always follows your class multiplier, at least it did on a warrior up to 2500 ac.

No. Was gaining a small amount. I wasn't able to get on last night to check it. Honestly, now that I think about it, it was only a few points, so it may have just been a roundoff. That or I missed an agi change in the items that countered the AC difference. We're talking about a point or two less then I thought it should be, so that's easily possible.

The HP gain per stamina point issue is based on level as well as class. Some classes (namely pure melee) get more hp per stamina then other classes (melee more then hybrid, hybrid more then caster... etc). I remember my rangers conversion was something like 7HP per STA at level 45ish. That was a long time ago, but I distinctly remember us having this conversation before and that was what my ranger tested out at at that time. I believe a warrior got 11HP per STA at that same level and my necro was getting ~5HP per STA.

Granted, this was a long time ago and I'm trying to go off of memory (tried searching, but it's a pain). They also were nowhere near max level (even for the time).

While I don't know the specific numbers, I remember reading a while back that warriors and knights get some sort of AC bonus.

For instance like Gbajj said earlier if you equip an item with AC 20 on it, your actual AC will increase more than 20. I think (this was a while back, so don't quote me) that I read it was like raw AC X 1.5
