I have a questionFollow

I noticed some people who have come back to EQ post here. So that said I hope to get some help with my question. I am going to return to EQ as well. I just bought a new computer, and was planning on buying the EQ platinum in order to get all the expansions I could. What I was wondering is will I still have the chance to find my old characters when I log on, or were those stored on my hard drive of my old computer as EQ.ini files? I don't mind having to reset hotkeys etc, But I was wondering about the characters themselves.

technically SoE only suppors toons for a short time after cancelling your account.

With that being said, there has been very few cases where they have removed all characters from accounts. I wouldn't be surprised to see them there. You'll just need the login and password to your old account and add the key from your EQ Platinum to your account.
