hey, I love everquest, I use to play a lot, but i was always a newb. I started playing guildwars, but it's not as fulfilling as eq was. Is it worth it to come back to eq? or is it really dead? I don't want to get back on and find no one to hunt with, please let me know about the status of this game, I would really appreciate it.

You obviously haven't been playing for some time - if you ever played this game at all, which I highly doubt, since you have no idea whatsoever what you're talking about.

EQ is very much alive, and will be for several years still to come.

Heh, in fact just the opposite seems to be true. For a long time I was able to go to out of the way places and have zones completely to myself.

Recently I've bumped into more people in places like Chardok, Kael, Droga, (even Western Waste for heaven's sake) than I have for at least two years.

A friend wanted to go get a couple of quick runes in WoS yesterday, there was 40+ people there. Went to MPG instead, there were 36 people there. (Don't you Yanks ever sleep? Smiley: glare)

Seems to me that we have more people actively playing than I've seen for quite a while.

EQ is alive, well and will be that way for several years.
