Ok, please no flames, still getting a feel for all the new things in EQ.
I’ve been reading the boards a lot lately and keep seeing people reference “elemental†armor. I’ve been trying to get more information on this but can’t seem to find any. What exactly are considered “elemental†armors? Do you quest them or camp them? Would it just be easier to get high level DoN armor from merchants? Thanks in advanced.

I suggest getting DoN gear. The best items are lv 70 required but the missions are great xp and it will give you something to save crystals for. I have 1600 saved in only 1 to 2 hour play sessions. Much more easier on real life than raiding.

High end DoN purchased armor is easier to get. Elemental armor is a bit better though. Hoever, to get EP armor, you have to gain access to the elemental planes (Need Time access for BP).
DoN Vendor bought stuff can be gained by anyone who does enough DoN missions.

Thanks for the information all. Since I’m in a family guild I guess I’ll have to settle for the DoN armor which I still think is good.

The DoN armor is AWESOME for those of us not in ele-raiding guilds. I'm looking forward to collecting crystals here very shortly.
