I'm broke, need some advice on getting moneyFollow

Ok, so I came back to EQ around 6-7 months ago. I left right around the time Velious came out. When I left I gave away most of my stuff so I don't really have much to sell. Luckily, my main had 170 smithing so I have been able to make the expert DoN armor. Still equipment-wise I'm severely lacking. I've managed to get to lvl 60 but as most of you know when you're wearing lvl 40 equipment its hard to compete with other tanks.

Back in the day we used to hunt the giants in Rathe for plat. I've tried going that route but find there are always higher lvl player farming the heck out of them. I get 1 to 2 kills to their 10. What other options are now available for a 60 pal with mediocre equiment to make some plat? Not looking to get rich but I desperatly need to upgrade my armor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm actually finding that alot of typical twink gear is selling quite well in the bazaar suddenly (some of the LGuk, Velks etc. stuff, fairly easy to get). Might be due to the new tutorial revamp as people want to check it out, just guessing , though.

Highkeep is one of my faveroite(never have been able to spell that word..) places to farm. The guards drop 1-5 plat and a FS sword worth 5pp+, and they're in their 30's and 40s so easy kills. Theres non-faction shops and a banker right in the zone so you never need stop really. I farmed there with my 56(or was it 57?) necro before I quit and I had some pretty good gear.

I've done LGuk to death from 30 to 50. Before Velious came out that was one of the premier hunting grounds in that level range. Have never tried Acryla Caverns so I might check that out. As far as OoW, haven't had much experience in those zones so if you could expand a bit on that it would be great. Also, I've been told that the Frenzied camp in Velk's is pretty good. Well looks like I have some hunting to do.

Another good place is the poacher camp in JP. They drop a lot of medium and high quality pelts whick sell quite well in the baz.
