Was a warrior, but didn't last even to level 15. Got tired sitting around waiting to heal, which was a real shocker to me as a noob. I remember sitting there mumbling "my installation must be broken - they can't possibly have intended this game to be this boring".

So made a druid instead, which I still have and play. Along the way I learned about the concept of social play, so eventually made another warrior, which also still exists.

My first was/is (sorta) a DE wizzy named Hastuur. Then I showed my wife how to play and she created a cleric, now the family account is pretty much her's. my new main is my troll warrior that i have had for awhile. Would might play my Wizzy more often if they could find a group. Ever since POK went up, the death of Wizzies are rampant :(

Treesbranch..what a name for a WoodElf Warrior..didnt know a thing about EQ, cept that WIS was the way to go..so I made a him a WIS Warrior..What a laugh now that I look back on it. Anywho, he hit lvl 28 somehow and is now my Bazaar Trader. Parked him for a HighElf Wizard, took her to lvl 56 with epic and parked her on the shelf. Port ***** now. Currently my main is 66 BST. Started her the day Luclin hit the shelf, never looked back once. Reading some of these post about traveling Norrath before SoL or PoK is so funny. My wife and I laugh ourselves to tears about running from Unrest thru DC and BB loaded down with Bronze weapons to sell. What fantasic memories.

My first character was a Wood elf druid. I fell out of the city and died and got confused about how to get back to my guildmaster. I deleted and started a Human druid in Surefall Glade, but I could not see to get out of the silly cave (I would have stayed in Surefall, but I my inventory was full from killing fish and there was no bank in Surefall), so he was deleted and became a Half-elf. I suppose Hrothgarr the 2nd is technically my main character since he is the highest level toon I have, but I actually play 15 different toons (only PLing in exceptional circumstances) because I really like playing them all!

First character was a wood elven ranger because there were no dark elven rangers (yeah Drizzt fan go figure). I fell out of Kelethin and died -- bind point was on the forest floor -- couldn't find my way back into the city -- bye bye wood elf ranger. =P

Bard / Half-Elf , Freeport. I was in the center of it all(no bazaar) . East Commonlands was full of spam, but less than freeport. I actually didn't know people read that stuff, it all ran by so fast. I was too scared to venture to East Commonlands because a big bear ran up and smacked me dead, so I hung out in freeport noobie area awhile. I decided (like any good bard) to venture out again, but to the Ocean of Tears, on a boat. I met so many good fellows just off the boat with such neat stories. So (sailor) I went off and fell off the boat in the dock. I didn't know how to swim and drowned. I found a puddle in freeport that you can just barely swim if you try really hard or you just stand in it. It's near a vendor in a run down part of freeport near the zone to North freeport.

I had fun in Butcherblock and found the Elf home Kelethin. I was really impressed by Felwithe. I hung around in those areas awhile til I was killed and had to do a corpse run from freeport :( took two days.

I had fun in Ocean of Tears since I spent so much time on boats because of corpse runs. You can fish off the boat while it is moving. You might pull in some weird stuff like seaweed or a rare fish. I fell off the boat in Ocean of Tears and was on an island filled with goblins. They all conned red to me and I couldn't follow the boat. I was really scared. I parked that character on that island for 3 years. He's in a full set of noobie gear from freeport quest and hangs out in POK now.

My First toon was a Gnomish Mage, because thats what some RL friends needed in their guild, on the Firiona Vie server. I learned to play him sitting next to a RL friend whom I was grouped with until I got to the high 30's. I enjoyed the variety the mage offered and liked being able to tinker. But after 6 months and dinging 46 I got tired of the game and took a 6 month break. When I came back i created a Wood Elf Druid (cause they can forage and I could use that to make some money) who is my main.

My Mage is still sitting in PoK wondering where I am and if I am going to come back and play with him.

My first toon was a Pally. Played it to 51 and due to several bad experiances in the noobie guild I was in at the time gave up and deleted it. I have regretted it a few times since then and tried to re create it once or twice but I think I miss the face that it was all so new back then and that is the charm I am missing now.

Woodelf ranger as per the EQ guidebook...LOL. I made it all the way to 55 before I turned to the dark side and created a DE necro to solo rather than sit hours LFG. Necro is now 70 with 300 AA. My cleric is 67..beastlord is 58...bard is catching up fast at 47 and ranger is...still 55.

But I love her and refuse to strip her gear or delete her. Very nice to have a tracker and just too many cool memories of falling off platforms in Kelethin..drowning in CB..having dwarves chase her through BB begging for lap dances =)

Lul, 55 ranger (permanently in storage)

Ah yes, my first toon. I created a Wood Elf bard in 2000. I could never find my way to the bank, the guild, or even down to the ground. When I did find my way down to the ground I would get terribly lost, die, and then never be able to find my corpse. I ended up doing a shout in zone about it being a cruel world and did a dive from one of the platforms. I promptly deleted her and created a Barbarian warrior who is still my main.

Well - I actually have 2 mains at this point. I 2 box and the main on my original is still my first toon that I created. You can tell because I gave it my real last name. The other main is my Ranger that was the first character I created on my 2nd account. They are both 65 and holding while I build AA's, and they get played allmost every night.

I do have a total of 23 toons on 3 accounts - the third account is mostly mules for my tradeskills, but it does have 3 actively playing characters. I bring out the other toons when I want to take a break from the big guys and just go have fun in the old world, and maybe go to some of the zones that we never ventured into when bringing up the big guys. Of course, since we're holding at 65, they are no loinger "big" guys.

My first character after careful consideration was a Dwarf Paladin. the current expansion was velious and after researching everything i went with him because of melee ability, healing ability and good stats. I made it to lvl 6 in one week killing stuff around kaladim, and progressed into the teens.. after meeting other peeps and classes and being tired of always buying food and other supplies, i made a mage because i could summon lots of stuff myself and stay at large for a long time. I loved playing the mage but would switch back and forth depending on what upgrades gave the other toon a boost for lvling. since then ive played close to every class but the most fun is still my mage. im not in a raiding guild so i have to buy most upgrades for my pali but i am still lvling and progressing him slowly.

Mine was a Gnome Enchanter by this name, went PvP with him (stupid me) that rendered him useless, otherwise he would still be here today, but I still kept the name in tribute.

The first character I ever created was a High Elf Paladin on Xev. Then I realized my friends played on Drinal fresh from the MM split. I created a dark elf shadowknight and played him as a main for 4 years before now playing a gnome magician. He is the bestest!

Hmmm, yea i remember back in the days my first ever character.
He was a wood elf rogue / ranger i believe, lol. The only thing i ever wanted for him was duel wield, but i left him two lvls before the skill to join a different server. my lord i haven't touched him in, oh, a good four years. never did delete him, never saw any reason to. Come to think of it, never even saw a reason to consider it, heh. A whole 15 lvls and he had a lammy and a full set of bronze. Man that was de ***** then.

My first char was a Human Wizard, back in Dec of 2003.
I blindly wandered around empty Freeport, and got bored pretty quickly.

Then I tried Iksar Necromancer, and it wasn't much better - huge dark place,
and hostile captive frogloks chasing me around when I tried to whack them.

Finally, I tried a halfling druid and it was just the right fit.
My home town was still mostly empty, but it was small enough
and fun enough for me to level up and make some friends.

Rather insanely, on my first ever session of EQ in about 2000 I made an Erudite necro. Never having logged into Eq EVER it was unbelievably confusing in Paineel when there were no maps, Erudites were blind, and Paineel was just an utter rabbit warren at that stage. She lasted about an hour before I couldn't find my way out. I made a barb warrior .. ah the simple life in Halas despite the totally blind horror runs into Blackburrow after accidentally destroying my torch before there were lights in the tunnel. I still have her now, and my current main I made after her. Once you go necro you never really look back :o)

My first toon i created was a warrior wich i took to lvl 58 before switching off to a druid ( lvl 70) , and i also box a beat lord now( lvl 65)..i used the warrior to get used to the way thr game flowed and i figured it would be one of the easier classes to play .. i watched other caster classes and saw what they did i fell in love with the druid class.. and made the jump and never looked back . but my warrior being my forst toon i cant bring myslef to dump him =)

My first toon was my main, a lvl 53 gnome pally on Quellious, I had fun with him and had a good guild back then (knights of the wolf cult). Started but never finished my epic, although i had a wonderful time completing the ghoulbane quest with him. He had all those no drop/trade items from the specific points long ago, they were the upgraded versions of old weapons, one was ghoulbane, another was something in najena etc, etc. Camped those spawns for what seemed forever before they discontinued them.

If anyone was in Knights of the wolf cult on Quellious, plz email me at supablake2000@yahoo.com
