back in the day when i played *flexes* i spent much of my time in GBay, as Greater Faydark(GFay) was called when it was the center of trade, and I remember all the merchants and guards yelling and the orcs would come up into the city and invade Kelethin. w0w... do i miss the good old days! how i long for july 17 when i can finally install EQ and sustain my physical needs for this awesome game : ). does this still happen?

That paticular event probably doesn't anymore, since Gfay rearely has more than a dozen olks in it, and even that would be a high number. GM events do happen on occasion, though not nearly as often as they once did.
there was a GM orc raid at The BB docks last Thur nite it was a hoot best time I had so far
Yeah, they happen, though not as often as they used to. The big problem with them is some folks here GM event and come hoping for some big loot. These folks end up incredibly disappointed and can get quite irrate when they dont get any thing and feel that they "wasted their time".
well I had two toons trying to give me Items ment for 55+ and turned them down because I wouldn be able to use them for some time. told them to pass on to some who could use. I gave my life and got nothing and It was still the best 25/min I have had in game since I started a month ago :)
