I quit playing EQ about 1-2 years ago and have been having EQ withdrawals ever since :P I accidently deleted a Windows file and I have to buy Windows XP, which I will get for my birthday(July 17th). I then make my triumphant return to the grand world of Norrath, and the wonderful people of Tunare. I used to play a Wood elf/Druid. I LOVE GFAY!!!!!!! But I was thinking I should be a paladin. Any suggestions on a race for a pally or even a different class? I want to stay on the good allignment. Thanks, Josh

Ah, more information please?
What do you like? Fighting, casting, both?
If being a Wood Elf really turns you on, then look at the classes they can be and try what looks like fun.
If being a Paladin sounds fun, then High Elf and Dwarf are popular.
However you go, do the new tutorial up to level 5 or so. It's well worth it, and you can come out of it with a super charm, an improved newbie weapon, some basic armor, and as much stat food as you want to stand there and click to make.

There had been a TON of changes in 2 years, so to re-familiarize yourself with the game, /agreeing with fallonn, make sure you go through the tutorial.
Also, you have the abillity to make 8 characters at a time on each server, so why not make your woody druid, since you already know how to play that toon, then experiement with different classes/races.
