what are the most important focus effects for a mage.

also if anyone knows, tell me about mages.

id like to know what they can heal their pet for at level 70, with all the average / good items / focus effects / aa's.

can mages solo well? what can mages solo ? what cant mages solo? summoning creatures, is there a way for a mage to solo one ?

just spam me with mage knowledge lol.

As with any class specific question, you have to consider level. Mages generally are accepted as good soloers throughout, but ALL classes get hit hard, as far as soloing, post 65. The devs have made it a point to make it very difficult (from level 40 named mobs in DS summoning every TICK to that freakin chaos chant proc and on).

For focii, I'd worry about Mana preservation>spell haste=improved damage>summoning haste>all others. That's just an opinion though, so take it for what it's worth.

For pet healing: Renewal of Jerikor; 1645 unfocused pet heal. I'm not sure if mages can get crit pet heals with AA's or not...
