DoN in-box and in-game item?Follow

#1 Jun 17 2005 at 9:08 AM Rating: Decent
Anyone out there actually purchase DoN from a store that could share what exactly the in-box and in-game items are that you receive?

in-box: a cloth map of Antonica

in-game: a 10-dose potion of HP restoration and a 10-dose potion of Mana restoration.

One neat thing about the potions is that you can trade them in for the other type, so if you are a pure melee class and would rather have more HP potions, then Mana/Endurance potions, you can trade the mana/endurance in and end up with 20 CH potions!!

20 CH potions?? Really? Where do you turn them in?

To the same guy that you get the potions from.

I guess I should have RTFM, but where do I go to get the in-game items? I just bought mine a week ago (and haven't found a DoN group YET) but didn't know about the free potions...

And since we're talking about potions - where does one get the potion belt and easy method for switching weapons?

Thanks!

You can get the replenishment potions by typing /claim for the character that you want them. You will get a gem that you have to turn into the potion vendor in PoK (by the Soulbinder).

Do use the bandolier, the keyboard shortcut is "B". The potion belt default shortcut is Shift+P. Only certain items are potion belt enabaled. The two potions you get as a bonus are enabled.

If you turn in one type of potion to get the other type, be sure and hand him only one at a time. Don't hand him the potions stacked or you will only get one back.

Not that I learned that the hard way. Nope, not me. /blush

On the bright side, a petition explaining what happened restored my potions. =)
