Race XP penalties :: Free Realms

I play a 70 Barb BL and have always wondered why Barbs get a 5% xp penalty but Vah Shir dont. The Iksar, Troll and Ogre I understand (though the Ogre doesnt seem quite right either) but seems to me the Barb penalty is out of line.

Vah Shir get Safe Fall, and night vision. not sure if they get slam.

Barbs get slam. and are blind as bats. so why the penalty?

Vah Shir only get 50 safefall. They don't get slam. They eat and drink at about double the rate of all other races. That one is the only real reason I can see them not having a penalty.

Var Shir are Luclin expansion. Them and Beastlords way too powerful and imbalanced because of it! Nerf Kitties and Beasties!

I know you know this, but the XP penalty is XP only, not AAXP.. so, as a 70 Barbie Beastie.. all the pain is over.
