Strange blue lightsFollow

So, I'm running home to rivervale to complete a task and as I come down the hill on other side of pok stone there is this blue light coming up from the ground. Looks like a spell affect of some sort. but no one else close to me on track, or anything out of the ordinary. I poked around with eq2 for a bit and they had something that looked similar. Has anyone else seen this in misty thicket or elsewhere? I took a coupple screen shots, been there for 10 minutes now. Lol, never seen anything like it before in the zone.

Some spell effects, including the veteran rewards, seem to "lose" you when an illusion is cast on you. When that happens they just stay in the spot you were standing instead of sticking with you.

Hehe, makes sense I suppose. I must have looked pretty silly looking at this spot last night. It was gone when I passed through sometime later. Really got my curiosity going at the time though. :)

I haven't been playing long enough to get a veteran reward, but I can confirm this as well.

If I'm in the "hot tub" in the guild hall, I can cast bear form and when I move, the "strange blue lights" continue to hover where I was standing previously.
