Yes, was in there on Sunday doing epic kill's it was terrible. We almost canceled the raid due to it. I'm on the Quell/RN server.

On MS we always have lag in NC, even when there is only 8 people there. I think the zone is bugged personally.

Likewise, late Saturday/early Sunday - ate a death due to lag, then as soon as I zoned back in crashed altogether and my system refused to speak to me at all after that.

Sunday I did everything in my powere short of dipping my hard drive in bleach to make sure my comp is ok.

Hadn't thought about the problems being zone related...

I believe it is indeed zone related in NC, because it has been realllly bad on Bertoxx as well. To the point we just moved to another zone because you would cast a heal and not know if it landed for like a minute =p

I was in NC last nite on Prexus and experienced the lag storm. It was unreal. Ended up leaving the zone since the lag pretty much took away our ability to move or cast spells effectively.

Same problem last night on Quellious.

Zone was fine till a necro spawned his final epic fight. Zone went to super lag about a frame every 5 seconds. Gm ticket replied that it was MY connection issues, although there were about 20 other people from around the country that had the same lag at the same time on different ISPs.

[warning=second hand information]
The EQ servers are massive. Some times there's more content then what every thing else can handle.

We had to cancel the final mage epic hit in NC because there was so much lag in NC. It was rediculous..

Did you do a /feedback after that? If not... you didn't exactly help the situation by not reporting it. Doing a petition isn't enough, because the GM's take care of the petition and that's it. Doing a /feedback will give the devs a chance to look at a problem. If nobody's doing feedbacks, it's possible that the GM was telling the truth in that he hadn't heard of it. You could also make a post on the official boards. One of the halflings will hopefully pass it on to the devs for testing, or, if you're lucky, one of the devs themselves will reply to your post.

I fight in WoS all the time. When things are boring, I head next door to NC...meaning I spend alot of time there as well =P

I have noticed *massive* lag issues on many occasions right after a raid encounter (like MSL, etc.) is generated. Not all the time (because I have done MSL with my guild)...but often enough to raise suspicion. Dunno if this helps any further other than just to confirm your experience(s).

Peace,

Speaking of buggy NC, did anyone else notice that the druid harmony for omens does not work there?

Harmony of Nature(works up to 65) will work every time, but if I use Nature's Serenity(works up to 70) it will get resisted(without getting any message other than agro messages) and all the mobs will come when I pull the mob I want.

This is currently the only outdoor zone I have ever seen Nature's Serenity not work in.

This zone was always laggy since the release of omens imo but I don't know anything about any recent lag since I generally don't go there.
