Level 55 HuntingFollow

Hey all, thinking about coming back to EQ and I have a couple of questions for those of you that remember those days or are sitll in them when ou were this level range.

I only have expansions up to LDoN and don't plan to go further at this time, so will it still be possible for me to get a group or are all of the groups in Dragons, Omens and Gates areas?

Also...the reason I left is because I would sit for hours on end and not be able to actually GET a group. I have a 30 monk I might try playing as well. Will it be at ALL possible for characters at that level to get groups? Or is it still a lost cause?

You'll have no problem getting a group at 55 without omens, god, or don. Although some groups will do some oow, on povar anyway i rarely see anyone doing god at that lvl. DoN varries, i've found that there are groups in the mid 50s that do them, but rarely they're pick up groups. Further, as others have mentioned, there's GE which isn't as full as when it was a hot zone but still usually has at least a gate or CY group.

Mostly tho you'l be doing tier 1 PoP stuff, a lot of poi, pon, some pod and poj basement. Don't forget about velks too. Anyway, as others have said you'll be fine.
