how can you tell if you have done your chracater right. I still can't do anything. I have done all of the things that edit your characters. am I missing anything. is that why i can't do any tutorials? or maps

Are you in the right forum? What game are you playing? (I don't mean to sound brash, but I need to make sure you're asking for info in the right place)

I think I have an idea of what you're saying, so I'll answer based on that.



Do you mean that you have gone through the character creation process from the character creation screen? (Have you chosen your class, race, name, put points in Innate stats, chose your deity, and picked your Home City, etc.?)

After all this has been done, the game creates your character, and from then on will be a chooseable character on the selection screen.

Now when you select your character he/she will show up on your screen. There are 4 buttons at the bottom of the character menu: ENTER WORLD, QUIT, TUTORIAL, RETURN HOME. To start the game in your home city, click on ENTER WORLD. To enter the tutorial, click on TUTORIAL. To return your character from <SOME ZONE> to his/her home city (only after being logged off for 6+ hours), click RETURN HOME. To exit the character selection screen and return to the server select screen, click QUIT.

You mentioned being interested in the Tutorial, so you'll want to click that button. Make sure you pay attention and go slowly thru each of the lessons. These are invaluable moments of insight for a new player.
