[b][/b]whats up ya'll , i heard from a friend that even though an account is closed when its reopend your characters are still there...he said he knew cousins that has had closed accounts for up to 1 or so years....and they was still there anyone able to give me some insight on this ??

I've quit playing EQ twice - once about four years ago. When I re-activated my account (after three years away), my characters were still there. Then about a year ago I quit and just re-activated yesterday - my characters are still there... :)

well i was just wonderin cause ive been away for almost 2 years and i was hopeing they'd be there , but now i have a new problem...which im goin to have to make a new Thread for...forgot my Station.com Password and the Email account on there is Expired ...i have no idea how to get around this
I've cancelled my accounts an average of 5 or 6 times over the 5 years I've been playing. My characters were always there.

I quit in January 2005 and just reactivated the account in June. Chars still there, and they even survived the server move while the account was inactive. Go figure.
