Last night I found a Velium Encrusted Guantlets for sale for 500 plat. I had to check it three times to make sure it was not a similiar named item. I bought it with my trade mule and put it for sale for 39,999 plat and it was sold by morning. =) very nice profit.
I would have asked for 10K more and sold it long term, but I have one on my rogue and I am upgrading it in a couple of days and its lore and needed to sell the first one fast.

Dropped 12 million in plat and turned it into 25 million in 4 weeks.
I once wrote a guide on the bazaar. Even had it for free just up on the web. I told my whole guild about my success... surprisingly, they weren't too interested in learning.
(And people still tell me I should be careful because it's a GAME and well... you just never know.)

I had paid 4k for the Pally spell Aura of the Crusader and saw it one day in the Bazaar for 265pp. I bought 2 of them and sold them that week for 3k each. Made a profit and paid for the spell I used.
Fungi Tunic for 8k was the best, I think. Others were Guard Captians Mallet for 200pp, Featherwood Bow for 5k, countless Tradeskill items that I flipped for a huge profit, and I'm forgetting a lot of others. I used to make a killing by bazaar trolling.
My favorite thing to do though was vendor diving, especially just after OOW came out. Made a lot of money that way too.

SoD 10000pp(someone forgot some 0s =p)......and I got to be honest I gave it back to the guy and it paid off he gave me 250k for being nice and it turned out that the guy would later be an officer in the guild I joined..karma FTW.... =p

Got Holgresh Elder Beads for 175k second best deal is when I bought a Bottle if Gelatinous Slime not too long before OoW release (still procd at lvl 1) for 15k, beads definatly made me happier though

There are 2 bazaar deals that I remember as being my best. The day PoR was announced and there would be 8 more bank slots I started buying handmade backpack tokens for an average of 42pp each. For weeks I bought every token in bulk and parked them on alts. The day of the release I sold them for 100pp each and could not keep them stocked. I sold hundreds of them in a week.
The only other deal did not make much money, but it was a profit. I found someone in buy mode that wanted a fine steel longsword and was paying more than a person in sell mode. I bought it and walked it over to him for a 5 pp profit. Not much, but it was the thought that counts.

i paid 6k for 3 bags of items... including, but not limited to, 3 meldstones (which are going about 20k each on Fennin Ro)... all in all i made about 150k for 6k... talk about great deal.

I think my best deal ever was Metallic drake scales when DoN first came out. I bought several for under 5k but I used them all failing BPs so it worked out that I made it on the third try. Was at 260 something at the time.

As a very new player who didn't even know the value of what he had found in the baz, I spent 750pp, literally all plat I had, for a Cloak of Pernicity. I used it for 10 levels and then sold it for 18,000pp.
Best deal would have to be when OOW came out and i was one of the few ppl that was fighting in WoS that early. My druid won a roll on a muramite rune and then went to bazaar and saw that there was 2 for sale for 400k a peice. I then sold it for 230k in less than 10 min of it being up for sale( This was on The Tribunal server). I was shocked that the next 3 runes i got i sold too but by that time the price had dropped to 140k each but still a nice peice of business :)

Not a Bazaar find as such but i found 2stacks of Iron Oxide on a vendor in Neriak, which i promptly sold that nighy at a whopping 60k profit.

Best deal I ever got was for my cleric's DI spell. Was just going to research it and save a few plat, went looking in the bazaar for the components and couldn't believe my eyes. Someone had priced Toharan's Memoir pg 22 (right I think) for 1pp!!

well I was standing in the bazaar one day with 50k in my bank and i happened to notice someone selling a Zlandicar's Heart in /auction, and dropping 1k in price every 5 minutes. So, as they dropped, I weighed my options of it being there much longer, watched it go 15k..14k...13k....12k...so on.. eventually went and got it as it dropped to 8k. Turned around and re-sold it for 25k a week later =P.

Found a bone-handled scimitar for 300pp once - wasn't really looking for it, but thought for 300pp it was a good deal. Found and Undead Drachnid Chitin Mantle (when it was tradeable)for only 4k - my guess, someone forgot to add a zero, seeing as how the only other one at the time being sold was going for around 50k! WOOT me :)

Found Yaeth 73 right once for 15 plat. That was long before I found out that due to bug, bazaar does not differenate between left or right and if you have both, whichever priced later will affect both. Never heard back from the trader and sold RGC spell for over 20k :D
Just after PoR came out, the tradeskill quest initially required some rare stuff like stone bean for master brewing. I bought a few I found cheaply and reliated it for as high as 50k each. They were sold fairly quickly. Many other followed me but the late comer got burned out when the recipies was changed a month later and made stone beans back to worthless.
Same thing right now but with thee recently solved Bristlebane's Challenge recipie. I took preemtive strike and farmed some of the rarer items like treant heart and sea dragon meat. Listed most of them yesterdat at high price (75k for sea dragon steak, cheapest in bazaar) and I'm already sold out on some of the rarer stuff.
This was in barter but same zone so... I guess I had a buyer with too much caffine. He listed a line for lesser muramite rune for 82250. I knew it was wrong but I sold one anyway then sent a /tell offering the difference. A few month earlier a different buyer accidently listed blue diamond for 3200 (he meant crushed diamond dust for 3200) and he quickly changed it after I mentioned it but not before someone sold some blue diamons.

My best deal was an Ogre Warrior traded his Cobalt Gauntlets to me for 3 Crushed Topaz, the Skyshrine/Kael Drakkel Warrior quest gem. My Warrior was happy.

First day Radiant Crystals became tradeable, I sold 700 of them for 800pp each. Ran to Lavastorm immediatelity and spend every plat piece I just made buying them again at 200-300pp. Returned to bazaar to resell them all at 600pp in seller mode. When I came back the next day I had over a million plat sitting on my trader bot.

Two come to mind. When I was in mid 40's, Someone was selling Blood Ember Greaves for 2k. At the time, they were my most prized possesion. The going price at the time was 20k.
Also, recently, I found pg. 22 for Divine Intervention for 50p.

I'm gonna turn this around and tell about the best bazaar deal someone else got....
Once upon a time, there was a young newbie wizard named Wargren on the (then) Xev server. I happened to be walking past the main bank in PoK while someone was clearing out his toons (he was leaving EQ). I asked if he had any INT items. The person responded in the affirmative and handed me a head piece that had +5 INT. However, I discovered a few minutes later that it was for mages only. I figured 'What the hell, I can't use it but maybe I can get a few plat for it' and put it on my trader for 1k. Imagine my surprise and joy when I saw that it sold in about 3 minutes. 'Who would want that lousy piece of crap for 1k?' I asked myself as I laughed my way to the bank.
The head piece? Crown of Elemental Mastery (for the mage epic), which, at the time, was going for somewhere in the neighborhood of 100-125k. I still cry myself to sleep at night sometimes because of that. And, if you happen to be the one who bought it from me...you're welcome. /weep

I was in the bazaar when I saw an OOC "everything on trader 1pp". I pulled up the bazaar menu and found the trader name and I was shocked...There was some GOOD stuff for one pp...I raced over and got there just before a few other people showed up. I got a bloodstone of the dance for 1pp as well as some other relatively good items.
I sent a tell asking why for one pp? The response killed me...It was the guys girlfriend and she was ticked at him so she was selling his whole inventory for 1pp....ROFL it was just soooo funny.

I havn't actually gotten a decent bazaar deal, but my dad has when playing. Found a Titanite in the bazaar for 50p =P Someone forgot a few zeroes hehe.
